They've worn wrinkles into their skin with all the worrying they do. Luca's precious to them because she's all that remains of a son they loved even more dearly than they love her. She's not as careful with their adoration as she should be.

Luca is thoughtless and maybe a little bit selfish - she takes what she wants because it makes no sense to go without.
