94th Tribute Interviews

you are confused, quite frankly. being here was surreal. you had been the first of your family to throw yourself into the fire, mostly because you were tired of your father trying to put you down anymore. its why you were rarely home in the first place. the agency had provided you with a chance to do more for the district. sure, jobs hadnt come in like they used too, not since the district industry had changed to basically shoveling shit.

you still had your pride.

the interview was probably the only part of the games that you had been dreading. mostly because you had heard that one ceaser flickerman had been back and trying to get back into the capitols graces. you rolled your eyes when your escort had mentioned that they were so excited to see them back and better than ever.

you had a feeling that wouldnt last.

third up, you stood behind xaa and the le roux. both of them had looked beautiful, you couldnt lie about that. you thought back to that kiss that you had shared with olivia before you stabbed her in the back.

you couldnt help but smirk as you watched larissa walk forward.

moments later, and rather quickly, your name had been called.

you stepped forward and the man that you had already thought negative vibes about had welcomed you. you sit down and try to not act too crass. you remembered that this was the time to really get the crowd behind you.

you might have not wanted your family to benefit from any of this, but you knew olivia would have told you to do this for yourself.

ceasar asked you about the tribute parade and you wanted to sass back to him, but instead, you figured this could be a good chance to let the capitol in on some of the brainstorming that goes into these things. "well, the stylists almost dressed us up in plumber outfits with very low waisted jeans, something about the crack needing to be accentuated." you give a light giggle, realizing that this is what it mustve felt like for olivia to be on the spot just like she was now. "the neon was a nice touch though, i was very pleased to wear what the stylists came up with in the end."

then the training score came up. "i can live, i got to square away some beef i had with a very old friend of mine." you smirked as you thought about sticking that knife in the back of olivia. "a little hint for the audience, a special guest appeared during mine, someone from young love in panem to boot!" you are pleased and effervescent as you share what you feel like sharing. ceaser looks pleased. he askd if you could share more "no ceaser, i cant share all my secrets."

the crowd seems to be enjoying the conversation, to which you did have to give credit to ceaser. you dont like him, but he can keep the crowd engaged and his charisma is infectious enough to turn someone like you into the bubbliest one in the room.

it was scary.

he asked more questions. "im a career, i take odd jobs that help out around the district in my free time, and i like to throw myself into as much work as i can in order to keep my mind busy." you are brisk in your delivery. "so no more romance for me, i got everything out of my system in my private training system." he stops for a moment and points out that you wouldnt share anything more from there. "im sorry, im sorry, it was a pretty juicy session. thanks mad dog for hooking it up." you are smirking wildly as you wink at the crowd and run you hand through your hair.

ceasar mentions your family you cant help but frown. "nah, i am not even remotely concerned about them. the ones i care about know how i feel, but the ones i dont also know how i feel." you roll your eyes. "i know my mom is watching right now, and thats all i know. but if my dad is watching too." she lifts one of her hands and flips a bird to the camera.

ceasar chastises you for a lewd act. "im sorry, i couldnt help myself. i was just so caught up in this moment." you smile wickedly "your quite a talented interviewer, even can make me lose sense of my manners." you touch his shoulder and then give a light giggle. he asked you what are you doing this for. "myself. thats it. well, that an to prove my father wrong. that i am just as good as his prized male children." you roll your eyes for a moment, quick and sharp. you felt like the audience could feel that.

ceasar asked you to stand, letting everyone know that it was time to move on and you simply smiled. "thank you for your time everyone, dont trust fame, its not all cracked up to what they say it is. just ask olivia harper!" you bow and exit the stage.
