Arlo was having trouble even stumbling. But, hey, maybe bleeding out makes a guy famished. It was making a lot of sense to him as the absolute gremlin menace that was Tavi Anemos claimed every sugar packet in the place.

"I hate coffee." Arlo lies.

Except- like- some people like black coffee, that's normal and definitely not 'overcompensating.' Why was he so damn annoying?

"Wait- you mean that isn't what we came in here to do?" Arlo shrugged and slithered his way out of Tavi's totally not helpful at all aid. Not even necessary, y'know, because Arlo was super totally fine. The floors weren't swaying, his vision wasn't blurry, his insides weren't attempting to be his outsides. No, everything was fine; Arlo was fine. "But, yeah, much respect."

He tries to hide his unceremonious, uncoordinated stumble onto one of the benches nearby as Tavi gets his coffee. It smells nice.

But, like, maybe he was feeling uncomfortable about how much they both looked like they'd been put through a meat grinder, blood soaked clothes and a smattering of snapped sinew across their cheeks, Tavi's lips.

Gravity changed directions, but-, y'know, only for him. "Coffee acquired, happy-fun-times thwarted." He gasps and winces as he, like, tries to- use his fingers to pinch himself back together where he'd been perfectly tenderized. Who needed his crispy pinky toe bacon bits when they could get him in ground beef form? He mumbles to himself in a bit of an adrenaline crazed delirium- "I'd make a scrawny burger." -hands sticky and shaking and totally not that pathetic or lame as he picks up a dainty piece of silverware.

"Hey, does that vending machine have tiny food to go with these? Ask them if they've looked in the freezer."
