I strike Wolf in the back, and she falls forward into the rolling fields of District Ten. Emerson runs ahead, catching her before she hits the soil. This is not the worst place to die in the Arena, although I don't allow myself to think about where I would prefer to die in this building. I must keep myself and Siberite alive, though he's not looking too good. Wolf and Emerson got good hits on him, and he wasn't doing too well after yesterday, either. Keeping both of them alive is going to be a rough task, but I have already killed two other kids. I can kill one more to keep Siberite alive.
Emerson turns his attention towards me, trying his best to look intimidating, although it's hard to do when the heartbreak is clearly visible on his face. He threatens to come for me and that I will know what he is going through. I don't have the heart to say that Siberite is a friend. He's been a helpful ally, but I wouldn't call ourselves friends. He still has been nice to her, at least. Emerson strikes out towards Sibertie, who manages to withstand it, but he won't last if he doesn't kill someone else first. Siberite taunts him and manages to get a decent strike at Emerson, but for now, I must focus on her priorities.
"Your time will come, Emerson, but I have a score to settle first for now," I tell him, turning my attention to Arlo. The boy who attacked her first on the rooftop. The boy whose supposed lover broke her knee. The boy chooses to be annoying because it's the only way he will get attention in this place. I do my best to run toward him, my glaive poised and ready for the strike.
"If you want to be reunited with your "love" so bad, Arlo, let me arrange that for you."
I swing down my glaive at him and try to end his life as quickly as possible.
