Lunaria is a girl whose exotic look has labelled her as one of the "pretty ones" of the youth. Her tan skin is nothing extraordinary; although not as dark as some, she is definitely not white, and unlike some who are only dark in the summertime, she stays tan year-round and simply darkens a little bit in the summertime. Wavy, dark brown hair adorns her head, ending at a few inches below her shoulder. It is incredibly thick, and unless she takes care of it properly it can frizz like crazy. She has bright eyes that are dark, chocolatey brown. When examined closely, one can see golden flecks that are scattered within her iris. Her lips are full and pink, and her eyes are large and inquisitive, both factors of her beauty. She stands at about 5'4" and weighs around 120 lbs. Although not extremely small, she is small enough. In terms of the Hunger Games: although she is not strong, she could definitely be a contender. She is incredibly stealthy and could easily avoid the other tributes.

Personality:

Lunaria is more focused on other people than herself. She has extraordinary people skills, more so than most people. However, this talent is not one that is utilized to scale the social ladder. This talent means that she has the ability to bring out the best in people. Due to this, many people like to be around her. She centers her entire life around other people and their interests. Her main interest is to love and support those around her. Also, she has a special talent to get under people's skins and make them do whatever she wants them to do. Most of the time her actions are unselfish (like getting them to pick more fruits, etc.) but it could easily turn back on her if she didn't get the reaction from someone that she was seeking. Generally, Lunaria avoids spending time alone, as when she is alone she often turns to dark thoughts about herself. Her confidence level is only high when she is around other people; at home or alone in the house, she has a very low confidence level, and she’ll tend to think everything is her fault. Due to her history, she believes that she is to blame for everything that goes wrong in her life (or in any situation she is involved in), even if she obviously could have done nothing to help the occurrence.

History:

Lunaria was born in the poorer part of town, although her family has never been too bad off. They've never been starving, but that's only because her mother seems to possess a certain determination. However, despite this fortunate living situation, Lunaria has had far from an ideal life. Her father left when she was about nine, and her mother is verbally abusive, and is occasionally even physical. She blames everything on Lunaria, so she hardly has a break from thinking anything is her own fault, even though her mother continues to insist that she doesn't take accountability for any of her actions, "just like her father." This is why her self-esteem is so low. Basically, she holds together the family, although her mother, again, insists that she does nothing but tear it apart. Even though her home life is in shambles, she continues to work hard to make life good for others.
