Kurt Stephon.
A rebel huh? Espionage. Now Avox. I raise my eyebrows. I didn't know rebels trained that well. I mean, I knew they trained, but not that way.
Father is a diplomat in the capitol. You might know him from this year's hunger games."
"Wait, so they punished you, but not your father?" I laugh. Sounds ridiculous.
I'm interrupted by the sound of my front door opening. It could only be one person who made it through the security measures I've taken. Well, two have the keys, one could only be coming at this time. Tempest. My apprentice. Tempest is of african descent, with green eyes and a colorful streak of hair to one side of her face. Her usual black hair, interrupted by a stripe that is currently magenta. Her boistrous voice echoes through my home until it reaches my ears.
"KURT! Guess what I brought!"
I sigh and look over as she bounds into the room. The smell of pizza drifting in with her. I groan. There's only one pizza she gets. "Pinapple pizza."
Tempest smirks at me, ignoring my guest completely. "Yes. It was a rhetorical question by the way. Anyway, I am determined to get you to admit that pinapple pizza is the bomb." Only now does she glance toward my obviously Avox guest. "So, I thought you didn't want an Avox? I thought you said that they are a security breach?"
"Yes, I did say that. But if you would stop talking you might learn something."
"Why? HE can't say anything." Tempest pouted.
I look over to my guest. "This is Tempest. Pardon her manners, she is quite young."
Tempest bristles. "I'm not QUITE young! I resent that. And why are you talking to him like he's a best friend?"
I look over at Tempest and raise an eyebrow. She knows what this means. She sneers back, but remains silent, while she opens her pizza.
"So." I address the Avox. "Where were we?"
