I totally get that and I hate when people try to ram religion down your throaght! I turns people off it entierly and creats disputes and even masacers but it's worse not to know about other religions.
I mean where did sectarianism come from? Ignorance of others beliefs and misunderstanding each others religions. If people knew better that wouldn't happen and I'm a strong believer that ignorance is not bliss but knowlege is. Ecumenism is the answer and we should all stop judging others by what they believe in but by who they are! Danmit, so much crap has been caused be religions! World war two was! And on a lesser note the 'trouble' in Ulster still are! Christians fighting other Christians! Ah, heck, what have we come to!

Ugh this is my least favorite topic i think you should be aloud to believe what you want! I am religious and i feel Atheists are just people who are scared to believe in Christ. Jews well we share the Old book so our religions are not to different. Mid-east religions: well the middle east is a area that is full of religion and History its GREAT except there is just to much conflict if maybe for at least a year everyone would stop fighting then maybe we could finally unearth the Huge fluid Culture and maybe get to understand each other more and maybe stop conflict there and if everyone was aloud to believe what they want and not be judged the world would be a lot better then lots of violence could be avoided(unfortunately that means no more Call of Duty) and as for Buddhism is a great example of a peaceful religion I wish every religion could be like that.

I really could care less about your online fake money.

I'm a Reform Jew, although I lean toward atheist occasionally. I feel there are powers, but why should they interfere in our lives? I have Muslim, Christian, and Seek (I think I spelled that correctly ^^) BFFLS, and a lot of Christian relatives, as my mother and I converted when I was very young(before that I was brought up Jewish though). I truly hate when people bag on my religion, as I have a relative that told my mother she would burn for eternity if she became a Jew. I don't think its religion causing wars either. Its an excuse for some awful people to hurt others unlike them. Religion isn't needed for that, gender, height, weight, diet and any expression of who you are is whats causing wars. Religion is a scape-goat for dictators to kill off their enemies, etc etc. I support most religious people, but if anybody tells me what to believe in Ill get very upset.

About the Jew thing. Jewish people, unlike (as far as I know)most can be Atheist. Its strange, but even my old Rabbi (Priest) has said he isn't 100% sure theres a God, but the way he put it, leading a good, healthy happy life isn't bad so why not stick to the Bible? Id call myself mostly Jewish as I follow most rules, but theres a blend of other religions in my beliefs too. Wicca and another unnamed way of being/religion also are part of my beliefs. I sincerely disagree with the 'religions cause wars,' because honestly if we start naming all the 'whys' of war, more than that will show up, like the Cold War. That wasn't caused by religious views, it was political views (for the most part)

^^ LOL a friend of mine once said if everybody was Atheist, there would be wars over the views of evolution (go Darwin!) and the causes of (insert something science-y) ^^ it would be like, 'I'm a follower of ___, and If you believe in what ____ is saying, then you're crazy!' RAWROMGWESHOULDGOTOWAROVERSCIENCEVIEWSSINCETHERESNORELIGIONNOW!!!
