Hero had paused for so long before he answered, Belle was sure she had scared him off. She expected him to have left after her answer, which might have been her real opinion but not what she should've said in this situation. So, imagine her surprise when she heard his answer, meaning he was still there. Still listening! And the answer was phrased as joke too! There was definitely something different about him from the kind of people she usually deals with. Either that, or he wasn't very smart, but she was going to give him the benefit of the doubt and stick with the first answer.

"Heh, uh yeah. That can get pretty annoying."

Now, the young teenager's only question was how to play it from here? Ansel wouldn't be expecting her back for a little while, often she'll go out with the group of people who are worth her time, but not tonight. She just hadn't felt like putting up with the group of fakes and wannabes. Of course, that was exactly the kind of person she was. But, that was why she had come here. To just forget about them, and everything else. Often, Belle wondered if her life wasn't just some sick joke. It was nice to not have to worry about it for now. And the more she talked to the person next to her,the more she relaxed and acted like herself. Her curiosity sparked. Exactly how much could she say before she scared him off? How much different was he from the people she knew? Plastering the fake smile back on, she turned to Hero and tried to change the subject.

"So, what do you like to do when you aren't training or anything?"
