Ren opened the door to his small seam home just a crack, when he heard a voice. "R-Ren? W-Where are you g-going?" He looked to his younger sister, who was 16. She was currently sick, and was sneezing, coughing, and hacking constantly. "Uh... The... The... No.." Ren thought of where he was going to go. He knew he was going to get something, but he didn't know what. "The Hob, yeah. The Hob." Ren could go to the hob and get something special for the family, or just get some medicine for his sister. He had enough money or either one. He decided it should be used to get medicine.
Ren opened the door the rest of the way, and walked out, slowly closing the door behind him. He walked through the District square, looking at everybody surrounding him. He finally reached the Hob, and walking in. He liked visiting the Hob, even if he wasn't going to buy something, and most of the times he wasn't because he couldn't afford it. He walked over to a small, bulimic girl who was selling medical herbs, cough syrups, and all the stuff you need for sickness. Ren looked at the herbs and asked, "Do you have anything for... mostly coughing heavily, headaches, sneezing... basically the flu?" The girl looked Ren in the eyes, and Ren felt a little sympathetic for her. "Y-Yes, I do." She grinned a weak grin, and went to grab a bunch of herbs and syrups. She told Ren the price, and Ren reached in his pocket, taking out his coins. He counted them, and noticed he was one short. "Damn it." He looked at the girl and asked, "Can you please... accept this? My sister is really sick and... just please." The girl shook her head and said, "I n-need all the money... p-please, sir." Ren looked down, thinking of a solution.
