Blake smiled as Quartz came out of the door, the polished wood making no sign of it being worn. No squeaks from the hinges, no dents and no scratches. He just assumed they tried to keep this place as neat as possible, so they could appeal to more people. Then, he focused his view back onto Quartz, her smile as bright as her hair was in the crisp winter sunlight. He found her smile perfect, only compelteing the look of the cute girl she had seen not so long ago. But now, he felt as if they had bonded more. I mean, life death situations. They exist for a reason, right? Blake couldn’t help but take a step forward, out of happiness, but before he could, she spoke.
”Told you I’d be fine. The nurse went to go get my Dad though, I tried to protest, but I understand if you wanna leave now”
So, her dad had heard of the news already. He wasn’t sure whether or not that was good or bad, and he wasn’t sure if it’s even what she wanted. She seemed like he didn’t want him to come, like she just to be alone. With Blake. The thoughts bustled in his mind, as he remembered she offered for him to leave, if he didn’t want to meet her father. Was he that bad? Was he going to get beyond angry for what he had done to her? What would he even say when he found out she was out at the beach with a shirtless boy, that let her get hurt? Worry filled up his mind, but his cheeky smile and glint in his eyes stayed the same, only eager to make her feel better. Now that she had spoken her cute voice now stuck in his head, he took that step forward, arms opening for another hug. He went to wrap them around Quartz again, thinking back to when they first met, just a mere hour or so ago. He went and wrapped his arms around her, as his body heat slowly began to heat him up. Hopefully the same with Quartz. He did the same thing he did before, one arm wrapped around her upper back, and one up a little higher, his hand supporting her head. Then, Blake began to speak, in almost a mere whisper.
“Come on, Quartz. I’ll stay here, make sure your old man gets you home alright. Plus, I want to tell him it was my fault you got hurt, and not yours. You know, in case he’s angry. Then, I’ll leave you alone, unless you want me to stay longer.”
Yep, there was certainly something strange going inside of Blake. Usually, he would have left, saying they’d meet again, but in reality, they wouldn’t but he stayed here, embracing Quartz’s now coming warmth. From what he already knew about her, she seemed to hate being controlled by other people, seeing as the way she reacted to the cliff accident, which could still send a chuckle through his mind. Though, when he forced her into a hug, she didn’t retaliate. She took it, and then, joined him in swimming. It all seemed so great, you know, without the partwhere they made a babyof almost dying… Twice. He felt like with her, they just were meant to meet, like the ocean, when it interlocks with the sandy beach. This girl, Quartz, was like no other girl he had met. Not like the slutty ones at school, not like the really bitchy ones, even once you got to know them. This girl, was kind. She was special. To the world, yes. But also to Blake. He spoke in an even quieter whisper, one that she would only be able to hear if she listened carefully, and this situation, Blake knew she would.
“Quartz, I just wanted to let you know, truthfully, from the bottom of my heart, that I-..
He was cut off from the sound of the entrance/exit door opening, nearly smashing against the wall it wasn't meant to hit. A doorstop would be helpful, unless they want a broken door. He turned his head, then his eyes as he spotted a man. Boy, he seemed angry. Bad service? But then, the answer hit him smack in the face.
"QUARTZ!?"
It was her father, and he didn't seem too happy.
