OOC: Happy new year to you too, and to everyone else (:
Fog forms when water droplets collect in the air to make vapor.
This weather is more likely to form near a body of water where it'd be easier to appear..
I can't be sure who I'm talking to. Yet, hopefully they'll catch my drift and start thinking of a distraction, too.
Soon enough, below them was swarmed with a cloud of fog, and it would be a matter of time and instinct from here on out.
In to time, he became perched in an large old oak high up, his temporary cover no more then sixteen feet off the ground. He wasn't sure, but it seemed that he was sharing the tree with one of the other companions, either one of the girls it seemed. His eyes scanned the brush for signs of the oncoming Peacekeepers who had seemed to be distracted by the fog.

Looking over to his companion a short distance beside him, he tapped them gently in order to get their attention, for they were probably scanning the area, too. "If they don't hear more commotion heading away from them, they'll suspect our actions." He voiced this quietly, as he waited out the silence for a moment to hear their pursuers. "Can you alter an echo of distraction in an angle that might draw them somewhere else?" He asked, his mind racing for a solution. If they hadn't known how to before, one of them might as well try now.

Looking back across to his companion just as the flashlights seemed to narrow in a direction to their left, he mouthed "There may be even some sort of pond or lake around here..we could try convincing our pursuers that we're making our escape that way." His expression was a thoughtful one. They needed to be quick about this.
