Koda is a strong-minded 15-year-old girl whose love for the water is incomparable to any other. She has both grace, and strength in the marine environment of district 4. She is highly knowledgeable of aquatic species as well as boating, and fishing. Even in the fishing district, her talents in the water surpass many others. Although District 4 citizens are all taught to swim when they were younger, Koda was self-taught. She mimicked the movements of marine life, hence her second home is the ocean.She is somewhat quieter and more timid on land, but when she reaches the water, her utmost confidence shines through.

->Koda Odair is the younger sister of Finnick Odair, the victor of the Sixty-fifth Hunger Games when he was only fourteen.

->She spends most of her time sitting on the pier with her feet in the water and feeding the abundant multicolored fish. She often refers to District 4, as the "Aquarium of the Capitol" because of the district's fishing industry that supplies the Capitol with seafood.

->Koda's athletic grace, speed, and agility through the water are just as strong as Finnick is with a trident. Her killing strategy is cruel and deadly, as she lures the victim into the water. Once she steps foot in her terrain, the tables have turned. She begins by pulling the victim underwater, and ripping their throat out with a fishing hook neatly braided into her hair. When the battle is over, she submerges from the water, with nothing but a floating marred body, and a pool of red around her.
