OPPS Too Far [Caitlin: Blitz]

Nestle snorts at the girls attitude, it made her want to hit her, but to hit her she had to get over the fence. I guess there waas two rewards to climbing that fence. She moves closer to the fernce, everything told her to stop, she expected any second now that some PK would come around screaming, with a gun. Probably to shoot her, and to be honest, she was not ready to die, but then if she didn't go to the other side, she would die. Of dehydration. This was not a win win situaation. She had one choice, and it wasn't a very good.

Taking a shaking breath she steps closer to the electric fence, she can hear the crackling of electricity. She could even imagine her skin crackling, burning, and cooking against the electricity. It made her shiver. She looks at the girl, a girl she had just meet, she was putting her life into her hands, her every being into this girls ha- Oh what the hell, Nestle reaches out, not hesoitating, her hand slides onto the spot where the girl had indicated, and Nestle gaped as she felt no pain, it was like an ordinary fence. She looked over to the gril, for next directions.

I really didn’t trust this girl she was stupid and I was even more stupid for touching that wired fence. But I felt no zap; I felt no searing pain and death coming. I felt the cool touch of metal beneath my hand, I rub my hand on it, my eyes flickering over it expecting it to any moment come alive and kill me, but it didn’t. A grin slowly creeps onto my face, my heart raced faster as I realised that I wasn’t going to die today. I grin cheekily at the girl, my distaste for her less so. I still felt eh pull to leave and go, but my will to survive made me step closer to the fence, placing both hands on the wire.

I roll my eyes as she attempts to scare me. I was past caring, if the fence didn’t kill me then dehydration would, and no one survived if they didn’t take risks. I scowl at her light words, that carried the meaning of death, she really didn’t care weather I died or not, no she cared otherwise she wouldn’t be helping more, but she had no feelings, I didn’t believe she felt compassion, only the strong at heart felt compassion and as I eyed her I knew that she was no more then the rest of them. Scared and frightened, but strong enough to do what is right.

I didn’t like her. She wasn’t brave, she wasn’t tough, but then again I was being hypocritical. I had run away from it all. I had run from the death and pain, but no matter how far you went it followed you. I watch as the girl moves closer to the fence, and the way she walked up so easily to it, I knew she had done this before; it eased my nerves slightly, but only slightly. Her long slender arm reaches into a clump of leaves at the top of the fence, I look at it puzzled for a moment, but my sharp eyes pick out the oddly shaped part, and once again a sly grin creeps onto my face.

I had to admit I was excited, I wasn’t one who just broke the rules, I was cautious, but took necessary risks, otherwise I wouldn’t be alive. I wait for her to tell me what to do next.
