Christmas is fast approaching! Many have taken to writing out a wishlist and delivering it to that fabled jolly character Santa Claus! Have you gotten yours ready? Careful though! He's made his list, and he's checked it twice, and he knows all too well who's been naughty and nice. Turn those frowns upside down and get the good times rolling, or you might find something a bit unsavory in your stocking this year!


A group of District Thirteen citizens, having grown bored with sitting underground and waiting for something interesting to happen, have reemerged. Taking a liking to fresh air and sunlight, they decide to have a little fun as the season changes. Donning festive clothes, they steal into the districts at night, leaving favorable or terrifying packages in the households of those who deserve them. Those who they see as "naughty" receive gifts out of the richest of nightmares. Those they see acting charitable and kind to others will receive delightful necessities. Food, clothing, etc. But what happens when the group pushes their identity as gift-bearers too far? When mischievous pranks lead to unforgivable crimes? A few solemn events and talk is sweeping the nation. Talk of the Nightmare Before Christmas.

— Jack Skellington - member - character name: Achieving considerable popularity before fleeing District Thirteen, his absence did not go unnoticed amongst the residents. Though social, the young man was known to lock himself in his dorm for hours at a time, refusing any company, doing who knows what. However, nosebleeds and incoherent babble are the norm for the troubled teenager. What could he be doing behind those closed doors?

After running away, "Jack's" new gang discovered he had been doing drugs back home, To help with the stress of being surrounded by so many laws, so many squares, he claimed. The toll of being alone, having to fend for himself has started to get to him, and he's wandered off quite a bit lately, not returning for hours at a time. Members of the gang worry he might be going insane.

— Sally - member - character name: Angry and rebellious, Sally had talked about running from District Thirteen for a while, if only to get out from under her father's iron rule. Practically keeping the girl under lock and key, his way of keeping his daughter safe was her definition of torture.

After leaving District Thirteen, Sally develops a strong hatred for District Thirteen, insisting it was her ball and chain, keeping her from the rest of the world. Needless to say, she was very upset when her father followed them through the woods... even more so when Jack allowed him to tag along. Sally, being the most agile, is tasked with stealing food and other goods both for the gang and for the good presents left in people's homes.

— Oogie Boogie - member - character name: Despised in District Thirteen for his creepy ways, Oogie seized the opportunity to flee when he overheard the gang talking about running to the woods and never looking back. Not particularly interested in becoming a Christmas super hero/villain, he decided to lag behind the group a bit, see what they were up to. Sensing the kids' vulnerability, he decides he might play a game or two with them, see where that leads...

Sadistic and yearning for the deaths of the kids who've taunted him before, Oogie becomes quite obsessed with making the gang's lives hell. Stealing their supplies, leaving evidence behind in the districts for Peacekeepers to find, he's certain one of these days he'll get them caught. Or murdered. And frankly, he doesn't care which.

— Doctor Finklestein - Chase - character name: Renown father of Sally, Doctor Finklestein has made himself known in District Thirteen. Coming up with new medicines and remedies to cure fatal illnesses in the underground labyrinth, many have come to respect him. Even still, why is he so fantasized with the bodies of those who have passed? And what's the deal with all the wicked-looking tools hidden in his dorm?

Studying intense medicine nearly all his life, it's no wonder the Doctor's become fantasized with death and its many causes... ad what may come afterward. Digging up fresh graves and towing rotting corpses back to his room, he's tried various techniques to bring the dead back to life, failing all the while. When discovering his daughter wanted to run away, he had no choice but to follow. Accepted into the group, the Doctor was assigned the task of creating the evil toys for the naughty boys and girls, forced to push his hobby aside for a while.

The trio of kids — former residents of District Two — tagged along with Oogie, deciding to become his little henchmen while he preys on the gang of teenagers. The middle-aged man relies heavily on the trio's mischievousness, often sending them by themselves to torment Jack's gang. They're very intelligent, but prove to be neutral as to where their loyalties lie. They're more focused on little pranks than the serious crimes Oogie hopes to commit.

— Behemoth - member - character name:
Tall and fat, Behemoth acts as the muscle of the group. Putting up a front of stupidity, he's actually rather smart, cunning and sly. He sticks with the gang so he may enjoy torturing helpless citizens, but knows he would much rather delve into his sadism than play with dangerous toys. He's the one who enjoys taking stupid risks, the most likely to get the group caught or killed.

— Helgamine - member - character name
Zeldaborne - member - character name:
Twin sisters, Helgamine and Zeldaborne were outcasts in District Thirteen. Teased by other kids their age, any newcomers would look down upon them, having been told they were odd and — by assumption — dangerous. Learning of an ancient witchcraft, the two began burning herbs and chanting ominous rituals, becoming very skilled practitioners in the forbidden art. Following the gang into the woods, they asked to join them, and Jack — mainly out of fear — accepted them. They help deliver the gifts.
