The Gems [D12 Birthstone Plot]

Isn't it so unfair that District One and Two get all the nice things? Why can't some worse-off place, such as District Twelve, get any riches? Why do they have to mine coal? It's their resource. That's why, but a few people still find it extremely unfair. Well, about twelve children in the Coal Mining district were named after a birthstone, according to their month. No one really noticed it. They were just kids, named after gems, that happened to grow up gaining the personality of their gem. Somehow or another, these children also managed to meet eachother. Isn't it rather odd how that could happen? That all twelve gems could find eachother? Not specifically like eachother. Some purely hate eachother, whilst others feel a special bond that could hopefully never be broken. Would they go to extremes? Maybe. It takes time to figure these things out, so what we must do is - Allow them to be with eachother and see the results.


Garnet Yaun - Male - Age 17 - Open - Garnet is extremely truthful. Not only this, but he encourages others to not lie. He is also very good at detecting a lie, or getting the truh out of people - Not always in nice ways. He can be very lucky, and is athletic. He often wins in games. He is practical, and often thnks about what really will happen instead of imaginaing outragous things. He is a bit afraid of failing, so he hasn't tried as many thing sin life as other people. He is quite a worry-wort, and can seem emotionless at times.

Amethyst Rabef - Female - Age 17 - Astrid - Amethyst is nicknamed Amy. She is against trouble-making (such as Emerald's trouble-making), and is very intelligent. She is good at thinking of how to do things, and is also very mother-like, taking care of the younger children of the Gems. She likes making friends, and her perosonality often leads to people simply giving her things.

Aquamarine Cram - Female - Age 16 - Open - Aquamarine, nicknamed, 'Aqua' is very confident about how she does things. Soemtimes she gets too confident, leading to stubburnness and dissapointment. She seems very bubbly. She can be bossy as well, and loves getting her way. She really loves to think aboutt he ocean, and her dream home is District 4. She is such a sea-bound girl she firmly believes she belongs in District 4. She has a sister relationship with Pearl.

Diamond Lirpa - Female - Age 15 - Open - Diamond is very beautiful. She was born into one of the few rich families of District 12. She likes thinking about love, and who she will someday marry. She gets crushes on nearly everyone, changing her mind often. She has a fire inside her that drives her to get what she wants. She's got quite a temper, and most people can get very scared of her when she's on a rampage.

Emerald Enostrib - Male - Age 15 - DiDi - Emerald firmly believes he has a girl's name. He complains about it often, and prefers to be called 'Em.' He is a hopeful orphan, and actually does live in the orphanage. He hates Diamond clear as day for being so rich and lucky, and takes any chance he gets to mess with her. Things such as geting her wet, or ruining her clothes or anything that involves upsetting or making her angry. He is often successful at these. He has a close relationship with Topaz, since they are both in the orphanage, and takes care of her like a little sister.

Pearl Enermon - Female - Age 15 - Open - Pearl is close to Aqua, and likes to hear about the ocean. She isn't too intent on it, but waves and sea breezes make her feel anxious. She is often forgotten by the others, as she is more of a background person. She doesn't try to get involved in anything either, but a few boys chase her heart. She doesn't want a boyfriend, but it seems as though she'll end up with one one way or another.

Ruby Lujayn - Female - Age 14 - Emily the Great - Ruby encourages people as though it's just a hobby. She is very sweet, and willingly gives things up for people who need them more. She is like Diamond, except she was born in Merchant class. There is a very small jewelry shop in District 12, with few gems, and hardly anyone can buy a thing, that her family works in. Since she has such a good relationship with Diamond, her family is well taken care of and can afford to give Ruby what she wants. She is very tranquil, and seems to never get angry. She loves younger people. She babysits for most of teh adults, even though she needn't work two jobs.

Peridot Tugu - Male - Age 14 - Open - Peridot is troubled with nightmares, and rarely gets a good nights' sleep. Often he wishes Ruby was there, and inside has a humongous crush on her and her sweetness. He wishes she'd give him more attention, and will come to her with a false ngithmare occasionally. He is skilled in healing, and takes care of any sicknesses or wounds the other's recieve.

Sapphire Rebepes - Female - Age 13 - North - Sapphire is a smart girl, but can be very stubborn. She has a temper as well, and throws fits often when things don't go as she planned. She is very organized as well. She lieks to plan out details, and often has to be corrected by Garnet. She dislikes him for this, because she truly does believe she can do everything on her own.

Opal Botco - Male - Age 13 - Open - Opal is very hopeful for Emerald and Topaz. He tries to make them feel better, and whenever they maange to sneak outside he hangs around them. He doesn't talk very much, but that deosn't change the fact he love shaving friends. He doesn't get along too well with Sapphire, and hates her temper. Many think he's handsome, but he mostly just pays attention to complimenting other people. He is very modest.

Citrine Noveme - Male - Age 13 - Open - Citrine only believes in being nice. He is (seemingly) against any profanity or terrible thoughts, to strangers. As he is always thinking up horrible things, often things no 13-year-old should think. His true perosnlaity is revieled to people who know him closely. He picks on his friend AND enemies, and won't hesitate to try and take advantage of Topaz. Most people who get to know him hate his guts, ut the group hangs onto him, locking him in a closet if need be. He knows how bad he is, but doens't try to stop it. He is strong for his age, and literally looks a few years older than he is.

Topaz Decemberov - Female - Age 12 - Sarella - Topaz isn't very much liked by most people. She has a funny look about her, and is another little orphan in the group. She is very good at becoming invisible to the world, but one little mistake on her part and everyone in the room will turn their heads to see whats going on. She often feels hopeless, and having always been picked on is a bit depressed. She has always known Emerald, since they both came when they were very little, and holds onto him like a lifeline. Up until she met the others, she had no friends but him.
