"Damnit Jack! You're making the wrong choice. I'm sure she's going to love hearing just how much fun we had today...and don't forget you've got tutoring tomorrow as well!" I yell after him as he takes off.

Oh no, I'm not giving up this easy. He will be mine.

After a bit I realize Jack isn't coming, with a sigh I take the lead and take Teo back towards the barn. I finish up mucking the stall and head back home...well it may not be my home much longer. I take the dusty road and drag my feet. I don't want to hear how much he enjoyed his time with her, I don't want to even imagine what she did. Probably flirted more than anyone I know, I mean my idea of flirting is cracking a good joke, hers is more of flashing some skin.

I wish I was as girly as the ones that seem to fawn over him, but I'm not. I'm harsh and quick to flare up, I don't take shit from anyone. The road seems longer than I remember and I fight back tears. Stupid hormones. I just wanted to keep this to us. The taunts and rumors were nothing compared to what they'll be soon and its all because he couldn't keep his big mouth shut.

The water in my eyes block my vision and I stumble over to a big oak tree and sit under it. There's too much on my mind to worry about the tears and I just lay back under the tree surrounded by the tall grass.

Without even realizing I dozed off. This pregnancy is really wearing me down, but I wake up to Jack next to me kissing my cheek. I sit up quickly startled by how he thinks I'm just going to be over it and look at him with a scrunched brow. "How was your date with Kate." My nose wrinkles at her name and I just want to throttle her.

I'm not so much mad at Jack anymore, just frustrated that once again I will be the center of ridicule. Jack'll have it easy, lots of "way to go" and high fives from the boys, and I"ll have the dirty stares and points as my stomach grows ever larger. I try to smile and relax up against the tree. "I'm not mad at you anymore. I just wish you weren't so careless about it. I don't want people to tease me anymore..."

Snuggling closer to him I take a deep breath. "If you need to go to tutoring can you find a new tutor. I don't know if I can handle Kate and you alone together. I just think she's going to try something." I look up at him with a pout. I'm not normally jelaous, I deal with a lot of things, but I just don't want to lose him. Not now.

"Well if she's doing that you need a new tutor. Thats not right!" What I wasn't saying was how I planned on dumping my lunch tray over her head the next day. "And people like you Jack, they're not going to tease you at all." I pout. Jack has that smile that wins people over, me I always seem to look like I bit into a lemon. Sour.

I stand up and rub my face, I need to wake up a bit more so we can head home. "I'm getting hungry, I wish I would've finished lunch. I did all the work at the Anderson's though so we can head home instead, unless you want to, but I want to go home....and what exactly did Kate do. I mean she didn't kiss you did she?"

I wouldn't put it past her, she's a nutcase when she finds something she wants. She's had her eyes on Jack from the moment we went public with our relationship. Its almost something out of spite to upset me.

My eyes roll nearly to the back of my head. I can do the work on the ranch just fine. "I'm pregnant, not disabled." I mumble. I can hold my own just fine. Maybe I can't lift as much or ride the horses, but I can still do everything else. Mr. Anderson didn't say anything the whole time I Was there about needed to slow down, and I'm feeling fine just tired.

"Jack if you don't find a new tutor we're going to some issues. I don't trust that girl as far as I can throw her. I know you'd never hurt me...but she's sneaky. So sneaky." I kiss his cheek. "Just remember its not just me that needs you, your whole family does. With that I am going home, I hope you come with me."

Without another word I head home. He wants to do what he wants to do and if he wants to spend time with that whore then thats his choice. She's going to do something he can't say no to and its going to end up bad. I kick a rock and turn around debating on going to talk with him and try to work things out. Its not like I enjoy fighting with him.

I take a few steps and I call out "Jack..." but then I change my mind. You know if he wants to talk he can come to me. He needs to understand that I can just forgive him for everytime he acts like a jerk, because I don't believe for one minute he wasn't enjoying Kate's show.

She is prettier than I am, with a bigger chest, not to mention the fact she's tall and...she's everything I'm not. Of course Jack would like her. Who wouldn't.

I can't help but smile at Jack's mom. I love that lady so much, in the short time Jack and I have been together she's been more of a mother than my own ever has. I come over and kneel down with her to help with the garden "Yeah, he decided that he wanted to do some riding, which I can't do...plus we had a little spat. I just don't know if he understands all I'm going through... I just wish he knew." My eyes start to fill up with tears.

"I want to be happy about the babies. I really do, but I can't help but feel Jack's going to run off any day." My dirty fingers smudge away a tear. I can't help but feel guilty about it, I mean kids are something to be celebrated, and here I am trying to even get up the courage to admit I'm having them. My hand rubs my tummy gently.

"I think I just need to get a good nights sleep. I have to wake up to go to the bathroom all the time and then it wakes up Jack and we end up just sitting and talking.."
