good morning, today is WEDNESDAE and the weather looks bright with a slight chance of obsessive murder
[/i][/right]i'm torn in opposite directions
the plot sucks
but these killings are gorgeous
god damn, these killings are gorgeous
Through the puddles we wade, my tribute uniform already dirty from the slush of this half-stream. Blood flecks up the sides of its white material, whilst crimson stains float in the pools that surround the Cornucopia. The statues stare at us, judging the crimes we have committed. Such felons, we are. This is necessary, I won't be judged by anyone for what I've done - Not the District people, nor the Capitolites. I glare back at the sphinxes, a holy white like my uniform used to be before I dipped into murder.
I pick up the gloves that I was eying up, shoving them in my rucksack and flinging it over my shoulder. More tributes flee, some in a better state than others. I spot another body, dead. They could be unconscious, but they seem to have been left alone, so I assume that it's death. It surrounds me, inescapable death, and I enjoy it. We're actually doing this, the Careers and I, we're winning. We will claim the rewards of the Cornucopia and press on to victory.
Another target, just another face that will be in the sky tonight, in the anthem. I smile that shark-toothed smile that I have worked so hard to trademark, to make others run at the sight of it. I twirl my spear again and lash out, hoping to impale another helpless tribute. I want names on a list, all saying that they were ended by Wednesdae Drummond. I want that satisfaction.
