She says she had two and I feel bad for her having to leave them, but she can get to know the horses here if she wants to. "My horses names are Halo, Thunder, Bolt, Nellie and Castiel. John's horses are Claire and Diego and May named her horse Tori." John puts on his work boots and before he steps out the door he says, "Ailis, you can do whatever you want for the first few days here, but Lydie, you should get to work soon. See ya guys. I'm going to the market to sell some meat." I smile and wave at john, saying, "Bye."
I finish eating and put my dishes in the kitchen sink. Then I pour myself another glass of milk, drain it, and put it in the sink too. I turn to Ailis and say, "Just so you know, usually things go a lot faster in the morning. Breakfast usually takes, like, 3 to 5 minutes and my record for getting ready is 7 minutes, so we usually get to work pretty quickly." I pull on my shoes with a lot of difficulty and I quickly yank through my hair with a brush. I turned to Ailis and said, "So, do want to come with me on the farm today and I can show you the ropes, or would you rather just stick around the house and explore? I'm fine with either one." I really was. If she wanted to explore the house on her own, this was the time to do it, with no one around around to bother her. But if she wanted to go check out the farm she could come with me and I could show her the chores we had to do, how to do them, etc. Whatever she wanted to do I was fine with, but I would much rather be exploring my house than working. Sadly, I didn't have a choice. I waited for her response.
