Some with swords raised high in the air, some being tended to, others dying. As you walk, you see Learna's statue; possibly handing the blade to Penelope, glaring at Demeter. As you stroll further down, more and more statues seem to look familiar, but they aren't grouped together specifically. Topaz's and Nash's metallic statues are side-by-side, one tending to another. The thought of what Topaz goes through ever single day, knowing she left Nash there, probably eats her from the inside-out.
And then you see Dragan's. And Vitani's. And Almar's.
You knew they died, Alaska, don't look too shocked. The thing is, you didn't plan on seeing them again, you didn't want to. You abandoned them, Alaska, and if you didn't they'd probably still be alive. Your cheeks turn red from the embarrassment and regret, but no one else can tell.
Bran and Curtis are your teammates now; you help them and they help you. Bran is... well Bran. He can't do much. He just slashes and hopes to get a hit. At least he can make fire, Alaska, and at least he's helping you out. Curtis is a little too silly, making up (what he thinks to be funny) nicknames. All-in-all, he's pretty loyal, and he treats Bran like one of his own. The biggest thing you want is commitment, Alaska, and as long as you know they won't leave your side, you're fine. You've been pretty much silent, after she died. All you can think about is how you betrayed her - even if you didn't do nearly as much damage as the others. You feel so bad for her, Alaska, and if you could do it over you could. But -
Ellea
- is right here in front of you. You stop short, and you know Bran and Curtis see it, too. Instinctively, you turn around. At first, you were playing a mental game to guess what statue was what tribute. Now, you don't have to guess. Her statue portrays her attacking, but looking over her shoulder. You can imagine yourself there, Bran there, Curtis there. He killed her, after all. He must feel guilty for it.
You keep walking, though.
In front of you is a bird perched on someone's statue. Sitting there, it's eyes following you. And next to it is an identical bird, their eyes mimicking your every move. Before you can react, it comes swooping down and you know what to do. You take out your knife and randomly slash at the creature.attacks raptor 1, knife
