[/i] She tells me, her voice full of enthusiasm as always. I can't help but admire her almost happy-go-lucky attitude, it's something I could learn from. Sometimes we just have to take the positives to move on with our lives. That's what I think I did with Pandora, I accepted a lot quicker than Rubik ever could. I guess it's different for him though, he lost a part of himself.

I could do with some entertainment. For us back in the Woodards house, Pandora was our entertainment. Whilst he drove us up the wall all day, we could always rely on him to cheer us up in the evenings. He'd tell jokes or generally wind Rubik up. He never failed to make me laugh, which is why the house seemed so empty ever since the Reaping. Seemed so hollow.

But I look forward to meeting her brother, what was his name? Andrew? No, Daniel. My short attention span is getting the better of me again. Daniel may be just like Pandora, which I'm kind of hoping for, I miss those kinds of jokes, the pranks and shenanigans. And he's probably talented too, musically I mean. None of us were ever good with instruments, it'd be nice to see someone with character and talent.

"Oh well, I guess’n that’s something that he’ll decide. I don’t mind if he doesn’t come, but it’d be real nice if’n all of us got dinner at some point—"[/i] She suggests. I'm not sure if our Father would want Ruby and her brother around our house, it's kind of an embarrassment and we haven't had anyone in it since Pan passed.
"Oh, I don't know... Maybe..." I say, unsure if I want or am allowed people round. It'd be up to Rubik really, it's not my place to say.

"We wouldn’t want him to spoil our fun anyway, would we? A night for just us girls sounds like a lot of fun!"[/i] She whispers to me and I giggle. It'll be fun, I keep telling myself. Before I know it, we're on our way. I call out to Rubik, tell him what and where I'm going. He tells me not to be too late home, and holds up on Ruby too.

"Look after her... She's been through a lot..." He tells the girl, before agreeing to buy the darker of the two suits, touching up with a green tie of sorts. He pays her the right amount and adds a little extra, I guess because he likes her.

And like that, I'm on my own. Isn't that what I always wanted?
