Nylon is one of those rare exceptions in the outer district. Born with soft hand and a certain flare, she could walk down the main street of the Capitol and fit right in.

Nylon is the youngest of six blood siblings, the mistake, the forgotten, the baby. People only remember her because her diaper smelled years after the last, her babble broke the comfortable adult silence.

- Raised by siblings, but she wanted princess dresses and baubles, lipstick and rouge.
- Made her own way and works in one of the more colorful factories in the district
- Has a bird's eyes view into one of the tailoring suites
- Recently has she been allowed inside to help ferry materials in and out
- She's never been afraid to throw an apocalyptic tantrum to get what she wants

The real secret to Nylon's happiness isn't fashion or clothes: it's being in control. She simply wants to wear what she makes, not what someone else does. That is the crux of her need, although it is obscured by glitter and fringe. Growing up with so many siblings in such a poor district was not easy, but her parents were kind to her when they had the time. Mostly she had to rely on the politics of sibling culture, which are never kind to the youngest. Nylon doesn't resent her family though; she simply doesn't understand them. They are old, dated. She is young, cutting edge. To design a costume for the hunger games is her dream.
