The wind blew through the trees in the forested area that filled the areas in between the Districts of Panem. Birds flew overhead and landed on the branches of the trees. Off in the distance, a howl could be heard and soon the sound of rustling leaves and bending branches can be heard. A shadow flew between two branches high above, scattering birds in different directions as the shadow kept moving. The shadow was coming from the lands that were unknown and uncharted. The shadow jumped from the branches above and flipped to land on its feet, bending knees to reduce impact.
The shadow stood up, revealing a masculine figure, built well over two years since the man had been to the area. He opened his eyes revealing two sea green orbs that constantly searched the area. From that position he could reach the knife that he had attached to the outside of his leg. His black longsleeve was rolled up and unbuttoned as usual, showing only part of his tattoo that was on his left arm. The man smiled and began to walk through the woods toward an old building that seemed abandoned. He knew this building and knew that he was close to District 9.
He approached the old shack and wiped off some of the grime on the door revealing the old symbol of the group that his friend had made two years ago. It looked as if they had been finally caught and he felt sad for that. In the upper corner was a J within a circle that denoted who the shack had belonged to. A man who knew nobody...and also everybody. Ghost pushed open the door and noted the emptiness of the space.
"Looks like they raided here as well. Not a weapon left." He thought as he looked around and only at the slowly rotting cot.
The interior aside from being barren seemed to be in fairly good shape. He threw his bag down on the bed and took the sword that he had stolen from the dead peacekeeper when he was thirteen off of his back and placed it in a hidden niche. He pulled his hat off, revealing his rust brown hair that was hidden under it and smiled before walking outside to find how the traps for game had been fairing.
He checked the first trap and was moving onto the second one when he stopped and sighed. "You know...you need to work on your stalking skills a little better if you want to follow me and not get heard. Just come out and you won't get hurt." He waited for the person to reveal himself.
