The girl was rather nice. I should just be more open to help than so distant from others. How can she really even help me though? Jackyl would just tear her and I up together without even a second though. So how can I really be willing to accept the girl's help. She would only laugh in my face, wouldn't she? Say I'm such a coward who can't stand for himself and only proves to be useless. I'm such a useless waste of space that all I can do is worry about the stupid ignorance I had to let her check my body under this cloth.
I grit my teeth at the new appearance, another girl, and give a weak smile knowing that this other one will know about me now. Great, now two people were going to know that I'm just a empty sack. Hell, if she did see half the bruises I wouldn't be surprised if she would tell the girl to help me just like she was already doing. My thoughts are too muddled by the cloud of pain that is passing through my veins though.
"Here. chew this herb, it's the herb use to make painkillers."
She is sincerely cared about me, like a human should. I take the leaves to my mouth and chew them slowly, letting the full effect move through my jaw and then the rest of my body. It didn't relieve all of the pain, but enough to stomach the need to decorate the streets with my insides. I feel a smile creep up the left side of my face, as though a small amount of happiness is now in me. I'm never happy like this unless I'm with a needle and thread.
"Thank you," I mutter, almost exhausted from just saying this. "You didn't have to do that..."
