WHO YOU WANT:
Dorian Warsaw
CHARACTER IDEAS:
Well, the way I interpret the character of Dorian is that of a man who sticks to his personal morals and screw anyone who thinks differently. Dorian believes that everything happens for a reason, that everyone has a part to play and that they had better fulfill it. He's made his peace with his decision to help that man escape a decade ago. At the time, he had been on the road to a good promotion, but the injustices that were carried out in a lower district like ten had begun to eat away at him. He had joined the force seeking to combat society's ills, not contribute to them. He helped an innocent man to escape, but confided in the wrong person, a friend he thought would understand, but sold him out instead. He used to have a more naive view of the world.
PLOT IDEAS:
The best thing I can think of is that he is the personal valet/butler/cook of a gamemakerGlamour anyone?which is why he'd be able to find out if his children were reaped straight away. He's been living in silent solitude the past ten years, relieved every year that his children haven't been chosen, even though it's getting harder and harder for him to remember their faces. It's an okay existence, cleaning up after his boss's parties and preparing the outfits or food. Of course, Dorian has no contact with his family since he's an Avox, but he thinks of them often.
Another plot Idea I have, which is considerably darker, is for him to run into the man that he helped escape. That the man had been caught several years ago and avox'd on different charges. So that in the end, Dorian would be utterly crushed that everything his family has been through on account of him was for absolutely nothing. It'd be more heart-wrenching if around the same time, we got double Warsaw Tributes, But we have no control over that so

ANYTHING ELSE:
I've never made an Avox before. It would be interesting to write a character unable to speak.
