Name: Patch
Character Wanted: Karin Harris
Ideas for Character: She would be the mother figure to the group, and even though she's very innocent she's mature and has her priorities in line. At least, she would think so, but really she doesn't quite understand the seriousness of most situations, thinking everything will work out for the best. When things go wrong, though, she would put her own life on the line for the others, because it's her responsibility to take care of them in her opinion. She's close with her brother, and tries to help him lead the group, even though her survival skills are severely lacking and she's not leader material. She'll constantly be trying to have everyone like her, and while usually this is the case because she's a doll, she can also be annoying with her constant mothering, optimism, and naivety and when someone doesn't like her she'd be really upset by it. She cares too much what people think and would be very influenced by the others' opinions. She tries to stick to her moral compass, but that sometimes gets her in trouble.
Link to RP Sample: I don't have any on this site, but here's a recent post from elsewhere:
Shiloh was dying to meet her starter Pokémon. Oh sure, she could've let him out by now, but she wanted the first time they saw each other to be in relative privacy. She didn't want to freak him out or anything, and a busy cafeteria was sure to do just that. After all, he was a bug-type and bugs tended to be used to being the prey animal. So scaring him would not be a good start at all.
Twirling the spaghetti on her fork, Shiloh pondered different names. Names were important, she thought, because they gave each Pokémon a sense of identity. It was important for them to have that, and it was important for Shiloh to learn each of their personalities. She would have to come up with the perfect name, and it couldn't all be her decision. She'd have to make a list and let her Sewaddle choose along with her. Excited at the prospect of bonding, Shiloh forked the spaghetti into her mouth, sucking in the tail end of a noodle.
She didn't mind eating by herself, but she did want to meet some of the other kids. She decided if no one came over to her by the time she was done chowing down, she would choose someone to talk to herself. She hadn't come here to be a recluse and live in her dorm room all the time, or become some crazy lady who only kept company with her Pokémon.
Luckily for Shiloh, none of those were going to be options for her. A boy who seemed a bit older than her was walking over, and she hastily moved her tray so that he would have more room to sit down. He had great hair, which was one of the first things the girl noticed about him. That and he was quite a bit taller than she was.
"Of course! I'm new here, so I'm open to pretty much any company." Shiloh smiled, then noticed his Tynamo. It was adorable, and she let out a little aww of appreciation. "Your Tynamo is adorable! Does she have a name?"
Shiloh realized as she said that that she didn't even know his name, and that was probably pretty rude. She flushed a little, hoping that she didn't leave that bad of a first impression from her little slip-up. She just got so excited when she saw Pokémon, especially if they were cute.
"Oh, sorry! Where are my manners? I'm Shiloh Aberdeen and it's nice to meet you. What's your name?" Still blushing a little, she unscrewed the cap of her pop and took a sip, letting the cool soda distract her and somewhat calm her down.
Possible FC: Abigail Breslin maybe? I don't know, I'm open to suggestions. xD
Other: Nothing really, just that I know I'm new so I'd understand if you'd rather have someone else, but I would really like to join in this plot. (:
