It was always nice to have someone who shared the same feelings you did. In his mind nothing happened by chance, he wasn't a gambler, so he was sure that meeting Nitya wasn't a mistake. There was a reason that she was a part of his life now, for better or worse she was going to be a part of his life. She didn't shy away from his arm as he put it around her which was a good sign that she felt comfortable around him. It made him smile, usually people would shy away from his nonchalant, friendly attitude. At least she didn't think he was wierd, that was another problem he had to deal with alot. As the thoughts swirled around in his head he heard her ask him if he's ever found any fragments. Excitedly he turned to her like an eager child ready to tell a story.
Yes, I have a whole collection of fragments. Bits and pieces of everything, none of the shards make much sense, but they're fun to look at. A few have the markings of the districts they belong to on them. The largest collection of fragments I own belong to, I think, District 1 and District 11. I'm not sure how they wash up along the shore here, but in any event I look out for them. It's gotten harder though because the Peacekeepers try to make sure that we don't see anything from the other districts.
Looking at her to make sure he wasn't prattling on about nothing he heard her whisper under her breath that this was nice. Another smile crossed his face, but he said nothing afraid that it would ruin the moment. She was a really sweet girl, and very much like him in so many ways. She moved forward, her feet barely touching the sand as she did, and he let go of her. He watched her move forward and than come to a halt at the edge of the water. Than suddenly she took off the vest she had been wearing and dove into the water. It all happened to fast he couldn't help but stand there a state of shock. He didn't wake up from the daze until her head popped above the surface and called out to him. He didn't hear what she had said, but by the sound in her voice and her eyes he could tell she was calling him in. Slipping the shirt off his body to reveal his well muscled form he dove into the water after her. He stayed under water and swam up to her, and as he rose he playfully pinched her arm.
"I see you like to swim Nitya, good thing I enjoy a late night swim myself. Calms the nerves and such, really puts things in perspective." Leaning back he closed his eyes and floated on the surface of the water. "You know, I've never had a night as good as this one Nitya, it's been a long time since I've had someone I could talk to like you."

OOC:I'm so sorry about how long it took to post, I lost track of so much during Christmas.
