The movie was so awesome! It makes the books look like steaming piles of dog turds!

Not really I was so disappointed by the movie. The movie did the same thing as Eragon: It changed the plot in a way so that any hope of a sequel is completely destroyed. In all honesty, I was going to audition for Percy, but there were no auditions anywhere near me. I didn't really want to travel too far for something I barely had a chance at anyway, but if there was one nearby I'd definitely audition. I think it might have been a celebrity-only thing though, because my parents and I were looking all over for auditions but there weren't any listed.

Due to the changes in the plot, I seriously doubt there will be a sequel.

Yeah, but if you look closely you can see that he's just shooting into the sky. Embarassing, amirite?

Yeah, it is an interesting bit. I didn't actually notice the shooting at the sky thing, my friend did, and he pointed it out during the movie. He had a funny experience, a kid who's really nerdy and pretty much stalks him asked him to go see it with him, his mom, and another stalker-ish kid and his mom. He wanted to say no, but his mom made him, and he said it ended up being a really bad experience. The kids' moms kept covering their sons' eyes and squealing, "Oh no, oh no, they're gonna die! They're gonna die!" and my friend just kind of stared at them and failed to enjoy the experience.

Yeah, he saw it with me a few days after seeing it with those kids and their moms. Nobody goes to see movies with their moms anymore >_<

No, I didn't notice that. That's odd.
