((Just to let you know, Tristy never put anything in their ears. She just put them in the basement so they wouldn't hear the conversation.))

The meeting ended earlier than Tristy thought. She was relieved when the other spies started leaving. Tristy said bye to them all and told them she was going to stay at the meetinghouse overnight, just to make sure the Capitol came and picked up the girls in the morning. Once everyone was gone, Tristy rushed downstairs as fast as she could, closing and locking the door on her way down. Tristy hated all the other spies more than anything. Some of them were okay, but most of them were vicious and cruel. Tristy saw that the girls already had the tape and the handcuffs off. No surprise. Then she saw that they were looking at one of the big gadgets, the one that kept files of everyone in the entire country. Eh...it didn't matter. They'd never figure out how to work it anyways. "Look, I'm really sorry about that. But you guys should be thankful. I just saved you two from being sent off to the Capitol for violating the laws. If I hadn't acted that quickly...you wouldn't even want to know what would've happened. Oh, and back to our little chat before, I would still like my knife back. And to put it in a nice way, you guys aren't leaving this house until you give it to me. If you give it to me now, you're free to go. Comprende?"

Tristy was surprised when the girl handed her the knife. Wow, okay, that was too easy. But she looked at the knife, and it seemed like the right one. Then, she looked at the one girl that had handed it to her. "You're Peacekeeper Phoenix's daughter, aren't you?" Tristy said. Then under her breath, Tristy mumbled, "Yeah, daughter of that lying traitor."

"Ha," Tristy laughed. "So you actually think I'm going to be your personal navigator and give you directions. Just leave, okay? 'Cause I gotta lock the house up and leave too. It's not like I'm staying here all night." Tristy pushed them towards the door, and while she did, she secretly placed a small chip onto the peacekeeper's daughter's arm. It wasn't visible to the human eye. It was too small for anyone to see. But it was a voice recorder, and it was stuck on extremely well. It would probably take about two weeks to get it off.

She looked at the one girl, the peacekeeper's daughter. She had an odd look on her face, a suspicious one. She probably suspected there was a trap. Oh, she was definitely right. Tristy wasn't going to just let them get away and tell her dad. The voice recorder would tell Tristy and the other spies if they did tell him. And if they did, there were already spies stationed throughout the district and the woods.

"Remember, you guys did promise to not tell anyone. Remember, before? You asked for an explanation on the knife and you swore you wouldn't tell. Well, I gave you two an answer, so you'd better keep it a secret," Tristy smiled. They were doomed either way. And if they tried doing something crazy and wild while they walked through the woods to get home, Tristy already had that planned out.
