"Tom i have the shot. What are we doing?" Aris asks Tom as discretely possible.

I then gaze over at Tom who is pointing what is seems to be a gun at Tristy's direction. And I can perceive the tension between all of us, specially with Tristy and Tom who are staring at each other: one with a triumphant smile and smirk, while the other with an alert and confident look. Whereas I on the other hand, am staring at every direction I can lay my hazel eyes on. And my hands along with my legs are stiff, alert for any sudden movements coming from Tristy or the spy in front of us, meanwhile my hands are on my knife, ready to attack if necessary.

I cannot help being overwhelmed by all this situation. That my father is in danger just as I am. That if I do any false movements my father could die because of me. And that if that happens, I will not forgive myself, ever.

"Keep the arrow pointed at him." Tom responds to Aris while lowering his weapon. Well that alleviates the situation a bit. I hope.

He then takes a step forwards towards Tristy and says somewhat tauntingly, "What are you going to do Tristy? Have a spy come to your aid? You saw what the others did to you. Why would he do anything different?"

This is an interesting question that I wonder how will Tristy respond to it. But, when I turn to face her, I see that she still has that unmistakable smirk and calmness as always. I somehow admire that. Wait, am I actually admitting that I admire someone who has been chasing me around for hours to take me as a prisoner and execute my father?

I then shake my head and return my mind into the safe-house where Tristy is about to answer the question.

"No, most spies have underground labs like this. And this one just happens to be my cousin's." Tristy says and then takes a pause before resuming with a smirk, "Everyone, meet my cousin, Asher, and Asher, we just had a little bit of 'trouble' so I hope you don't mind that we're in your house." She then gives all of us a cold glare to which I cannot decipher what is she planning on doing.

I then take a small step back due to the glare that is making suspicion arise from me. I am not liking this at all. There is too much tension going on, and weapons are being pointed in all directions. No wonder my father hasn't proposed me to work alongside him at the Headquarters. I am not made to be in situations like this and remain calm like Tristy or Tom.

Suddenly, I notice Aris falling onto her knees in the ground in what seems to be sorrow. This makes me take a step forwards but quickly stop to analyze what is going on. Why is she on the ground? I then take another quiet step forwards and notice that she has a death grip on her bow. And seeing how she is feeling, she might let go of that arrow and do something that she might soon regret.

A rush of adrenaline soon crosses through me as I notice how things are turning from bad to worse. I then gaze at the exit door and want to open it to run away and go back towards wherever I can be safe at, away from everything until I can figure out how to get to dad. But then again, a cold chill crosses down my spine as if to warn me into not opening that door. Although, seeing how Aris is feeling and how the spies could have imagined that Tristy would have come down here, I bet they are close to arriving, if not already here.

I give my head a shake and grab Aris by the arm and open the door with a series of violent kicks. Then when it is fully open, I go outside. That is where I notice that the spies are here.
Now dread is all I feel. And this makes my face drain from color and turn pale. I then run back inside into the safe-house and close it as quietly but quick as possible.

While turning to Tom, Tristy, and Aris, I say hurriedly,anxiously, and without breath, "There a bunch of spies outside. Is there a way we can get out of here without them finding out we were here?"

Sure this question would be a dumb one to ask to a spy, but knowing how Tristy acted back then, I think that she will be willing to help us escape from here.
