"ok first do you really want to help? because it could get, well me mostly introuble?" i ask mike with a seious tone
"yea i can help tell me what you need to do" he replies quickly.
"ok first get this damn thing out of my arm and help me up, please." he pulls it out and grabs my hand and helps me up out of the bed.
i streached my arms and legs but the pain was still there in my shoulder blade, i winced. Kyla was there in a second
"are you alright?" she asked urgently
"yeah i will be fine"
LETS JUST PRETEND THE HUNGER GAMES TRIBUTES ARENT CHOSEN YET ALRIGHT?
"well i am pretty sure im going to have to voulenter for the hunger games this year. there is nothing else to it. but i want to be free like i was." i had an idea, "Mike do you know were my bag is?"
"yeah let me get it," he comes baack about 2 minutes later with my bag. i grab my sling shot.
"i have an idea" i say in a sly way
"in District 4 we can get married if one of the people is over 15. and i am almost 17. do you see were i am going with this?"
they stay quiet.
"Kyla do you have the ring i gave you?"
"you gave her the ring? how we saw you for the first time today."
"correction," Kyla said, "you saw him for the first time today"
"No, i droped the ring in the forest, while fighting them."
"ok then i will have to make my own.
i take some of the metal off of the wires with my knife and burn it, i dig through my pack once more and found my little lure from when i was 4. i made one end of it waxy with the lighter and stuck it onto the wire. i start to blow on it.
"i will be right back" i quickly walk out of the room and go to the doctor.
"hey doc, do you think i could talk to you for a moment?"
"sure"
"i am planning on preposing to the girl of my dreams and i want to do it in a better place then the hospitial, do you think i could just walk with her for a bit, and pop the question?"
"of course do you have a ring?"
"yup," i show him the ring i made about 1 minute ago.
"ok you can go but be carful with your shoulder alright?"
"yes sir" i walk back into the room
"come on Kyla we can go," i quickly pick up all my stuff and stuff it into my bag.
"can you carry this mike, just until i get out of here?"
"yeah"
we leave the hospitial and Mike hands me my bag.
"tell your brother you love him Kyla, just in case."
"in case what?"
"just do it please"
"ok, Mike, thanks i love you," she hugs him quickly and kisses his cheek. "tell the family i love them too alright incase i dont come back"
"ok i love you too Kyla"
and with that me and Kyla quickly walk away from the hospitial.
"were are we going?" she asked
"the forest hurry before they suspect anything."
"alright." she grabs my hand and squeezes it. i then remember i havent step foot in any district since i was 12 and i had no clue were i was going.
"lets go to the forest but just hurry Kyla."
