10:15pm sharp.
#3000 Fox Street warehouse
A minor Prestige building, "The Corner"
Sirius Amory stood up and hit his fist on the long table that he headed. No gavel necessary. A silence fell over the whole room, a dimly lit warehouse with a single entrance.
"This meeting will come to order." His tone was serious and commanding. He did not kid when it came to his gang. "All rise and join me in the pledge of allegiance." A brief pause for people to get to their feet. He angled himself towards the gang's symbol, seven circles connected by a triangle spray painted in red on the wall behind him.
"I pledge my allegiance to the Prestige of Panem," he lead, "not to the nation in which it resides nor the unjust dictators who make this land the subject and slave of their cruel games. I am no tool of theirs."
He nodded, pleased with the pledge, though it was more of an anti-Capitol speech than anything. If he'd uttered it within earshot of an official, he would be dragged to the capitol to become even more of a slave with no ability to say such things ever again. But then, there were a lot of things that Sirius did that could get him in deep trouble with the lawmakers.
"Our first order of business is the matter of the Fringe, who are our allies as of today. Any who act with hostility toward them can expect punishments as if you attacked one of our own. No exceptions."
He glanced around to make sure that the news took. He didn't want to have to punish one of his men over something as such. Why did he say no exceptions? He was now bound by his word. That was a bad move.
"Any discussion?"
