The twins had grown so much from the very first introduction, which was in no doubt the second encounter Jack and Faith had. It's of no surprise now that Faith had grown nearly as close to Josh and Briar as she has to their Father. All the love she had for the twins didn't make the fact holding them both was becoming more and more difficult. Luckily Mrs. Lexington wasn't even close to being too old to care for her grandchildren. In fact she was practically a teacher for Faith with all the practice and experience she contained.
It was true that babies were much more vulnerable to illnesses but it was still a stressful time especially when their immune system breaks down regularly. In a high District as Ten the fear for a babies health and wellness was common. "Again?" Faith asked with concern in her voice as she automatically placed the back of her hand gently against the baby girl's forehead. Reoccurring sicknesses was never a good sign, either indicating a child with a bad immune system that will regularly catch something, or symptoms of a bigger issue. With the time span and simple desire of the best outcome Faith was fully behind a bad immune system.
"She's a little warm, seems to be more hungry then sick though." Faith answered as Briar gripped one of Faith's fingers to wave around and of course attempt to stick in her mouth. At least she was the type of baby to be content in someones arms.
A small smile spread to Faith's face that Mrs. Lexington desired her help, though it didn't last long on account it was to care for a sick baby. "Of course, just let me know what you need." She offered. "I can go to my house if you need any remedies." She also added getting up to prepare a bottle for Briar.

Everything happened so fast that by the time Brian managed control over his horse and focus his vision he registered the two gun fires retrieved from Jack's gun. Scoping around to see all the damage their deliveries have been spooked and now grazing in all different directions, and the panther had been killed. As everything settled back to be calm Brian could also take in the real damage of one of the horses.
Being called over Brian predicted the worst of a vital attack as the gash of the wounded horse could easily be spotted from a distances. But her chest was still rising and falling meaning something even more worse. Out here, in the middle of no where, with no time to spare or equipment to work with, damage this bad is untreatable. Before Jack even told Brian's new instructions, he knew. "Are you sure there's nothing else?" He asked refusing to let his voice crack or show a bit of emotion.
It toke quite a few minutes for Brian to get around to do it, but the longer it toke him the more pain the tiny poor horse revealed. Finally unable to take her suffering Brian followed the instructions to a tee. He held his breathe, aimed for the heart, and toke the shot, immediately taken the horse out of her misery. Jack had already managed to round up the majority of the horse by this point, and Brian toke no time at all to desire distraction by gathering the last few.
