The punch work, Gala was just as quick to respond and Matthew was to dart over. She didn't mean to cause actual pain, more to just get out a bit of aggression. For some reason though Matthew growls in pain. It felt as if he blocked it with his arm, by the feel of Gala's knuckles, yet her ears told her she hit a soft spot. Unexpectedly her wounded shoulder gets it and she also winces in pain. "What was that for!" She protested, clutching her shoulder to her best ability.
Once again Gala didn't follow directions, and she didn't even purposely do it for that reason. But of course that was the way Matthew toke it; another time she didn't listen. A new threat follows, the he'd punch her lights out if she did that again. "Sounds just as bad as choking." Gala comments under her breath, then follows with a sigh. Round two and Matthew gives the command to do it right this time, to point. What would he of done if she didn't point though? Probably punch her, or push her or something. Didn't seem fair, but she still followed the instructions.
Maybe on concrete the footsteps would be impossible to hear, but on the grass and dirt even the lightest tip toes held a small ruffle behind it. It could easily be fooled to be an animal, or even the breeze, but knowing someone was about to come after her Gala was prepared. The trapeze performs required all senses, and as loud as a crowd can get, hearing is still one of them. She couldn't look up to see when her sister was going to jump, in need of someone to catch her. The movement of the swing as she jumped, and she sound of her falling through the air, was all that was needed.
There was a lot of noises during the day, other people training, outdoor animals, and crazy wind. So the sound of something slowly growing closer was her only indication. She turned and pointed in front of her, where the smallest movement rang through her ears. "There." She stated, not touching the hat covering her eyes. No more punches, she had no desire to get knocked out today.
