Listening was the exercise Gala just performed, and learned she was quite good at it. But running through the trees, searching for the perfect hiding spot, she didn't considering everything going around her. Usually Gala knew when to be cautious, having the ability to run at a steady pace and still be aware of her surroundings. But then she didn't feel the need to, and clearly she should of been. Being so close to getting her head carved in with a knife didn't sound pleasant, and she certainly noted to keep watch next time. With embarrassment of not knowing to do it already she only nodded her head to gesture she was listening and understood. Hopefully she doesn't pass the mistake onto Matthew, certainly he'd be disappointed with his trainee's carelessness.
The young girl's told not to thank the older one, because she was just simply lucky. She claims that if she was aiming at her then she wouldn't be standing her right now, and by her confidence with the career boys Gala doesn't doubt that. She must have a great aim and throw, after all the knife stuck into the tree quite deeply, and if she was at fault for Matthew's beat-up appearance, she must be really good. "Good to know." Gala comments, another career to not mess with, though any of the careers fell under that category. Matthew was one of the careers she knew not to mess with, but still caught herself doing it anyways.
The older female career was growing faster on little Gala then even Matthew who she wanted as her trainer from the very start. She was strong and pretty, but most importantly a lot kinder then anyone she's met in a while. Not completely a nice person by the looks of it, but still more then anyone else, even Gala. Advice on not being fearful of boy careers follows Gala's question on being scared of them. It sounded great and realistic, except for someone Gala's size and age.
"Not when your my age though." Gala says in nearly a whisper. Gaining respect from anyone at this age was difficult; her trainer, siblings, adults. The only one that she had mutual respect for was her twin sister...though fear can be seen as respect, and she had that for a few people.
Kyanite that was a very interesting name, and Gala's lips formed to a smile at the introduction. Usually people refuse to give names like it's there secret, simply because they don't have interest in seeing that person ever again. "Nice to meet you." Gala responds with. That's what normal people usually say right? She just wanted to try to be nice, like Kyanite was.
The reminder that Gala was suppose to hide returns when Kyanite mentions it, suggesting that it was probably a smart move for the little girl. She was right, though Gala was very eager to know this girl more. This was the girl Matthew was with, and she was certain of it, like a strong feeling. But hiding was the smartest idea right now, and now with the name exchange maybe she could find Kyanite later. She nodded her head in agreement.
The smile on the young face grew extremely large when Kyanite handed her a knife and suggests to use it. She stared at it in her tiny palm for a second, considering the pros and cons of taking it. Would Matthew get made? She looked at it as a survival tactic though; it wasn't like she was actually going to throw it at her trainer...Just proof that she can protect herself if need be.
"Thanks." Gala finally looks up from the knife and to Kyanite, a little in disbelieve. "I'll bring it back to you?" She offered with wide, excited eyes.
With that the little career darted off into the bundle of trees. The leafs had all fallen from their trees, so the majority held no hiding place. Racking up a pile of leafs could be a good strategy, though it would take a while and Gala probably did not have that much time. Searching each tree quickly, she luckily discovered one that was decent. Her luck was high today clearly. One of the trees held a small bucket like hole on the top, at least enough for Gala to hide in. She could easily keep view, and have the ability to crouch if she spotted anyone. At the first sound of footsteps she perched into her little hiding spot, her knife pointed in front of her, just to show she's able to attack.
