He made it. He wasn't attacked yet so they must want to kill in plain daylight to show him what they were made of. He wasn't about to let himself be killed by a pathetic gang who kills at night. He walked up to his door, but before he turned the door knob he looked around to make sure no one was stalking him like he was prey and when he was satisfied that all was safe he walked into his own house. Everyone was asleep and he expected that. He heard feint sounds of snoring from his family, but no signs that his late arrival and subsequent entry into the home woke them up. Thank ripred that they're not awake. Mason walked to his room and instantly passed out once he hit his bed. He didn't even have time to worry about what went on during the night a while back ago.
Mason awoke with slight panic. He half expected to find someone in his room ready to kill him, but as he surveyed the room he didn't find anything out of the ordinary. He got out of bed and walked slowly out of his room and made his way over to a table. "Hey mother would you get me some breakfast and my plastic training sword? I want a really early head start at the academy today." His mother nodded and went to retrieve his training sword that he occasionally used when he didn't want to use the academy weapons. His mother brought breakfast to him and he muttered thanks as he scarfed down breakfast then got up. He grabbed the sword and was ready to leave the house when his brother spoke. Mason would you please do something with me today? Mason froze. He was occupied with training and his brother knew that. "I'm sorry, but I got training so bug off." He regretted the words instantly, but he wanted to train. He walked out of his house only to see the girl from yesterday sitting in a chair on his porch. He dropped his training sword and swore under his breath.
