He kept talking about how his dad beats him. I felt so bad for Vrases. He seemed like such a sweet guy. Why would anyone want to do this to him... It really made me think. I know my parents were almost never around, but I don't think they would ever do something like this to me. I then saw his smile. It caught me as is it was a tracker beam sucking me in. I started to inch closer to his lips. Right as our lips were about to make contact. I hear another cannon go off and I quickly turn me head to see the girl from 11 dead.

Watching as she listened to me talk about my dad and how he was, I watched quietly as she inched closer and closer to me, feeling my heart race and my hands sweat slightly... What was going on? I didn't really know to be honest; but did I care? No. Suddenly we heard a cannon go off and the girl from district 11 fell down to the ground.... And once again another life was taken before their time. Turning back from the tv, I looked back at Sophia and quietly hooked one of my fingers into her shirt, right over her stomach and pulled her slightly closer, her head near my chest and I gazed down at her. Smiling a bit playfully, I gazed into her eyes for a moment, not saying a word and simply watching her. Had I expected this to happen? Nope....but for someone like myself this was a whole new thing, and I felt a small guilty pleasure at it, feeling like I was doing something completely new.
