Blissfully ignorant to the whole ordeal, Estella paid no attention to the lustful beacon swelling in the core of the man’s vulgar eyes, his entire presence becoming less and less important to the placid faced girl whose gaze flittered away absently once he uttered his false apology. It was impressive really, the rate in which someone could retract all their statements and trample on their own ethics for the chance to save their skin and maintain whatever dignity and honour they proclaimed to obtain. It was always entertaining to be recognised as Cricket’s cousin, to observe the changes in people’s behaviour and watch as they unravelled to the pressure of conformity and hierarchy. Especially those that assumed any dishonour placed on Estella would somehow infuriate Cricket and bring the victor’s wrath upon them, it was all rather peculiar, simply because Estella didn’t care for it. Of course she’d been forced to train occasionally, but she had no attachment to the idea of being related to a victor or winning herself, the whole thing was all just a little tedious to the money loving teen.

Observing the whole macho bravado stand-off between the two boys automatically brought her idle wanderings back to a state of fixation as she cast dismissive eyes plainly upon the pair in mild amusement compromised by a distasteful look smearing across her faintly pursed lips. What was with men and attempting to solve every issue with some sort of conflict and fight, there were far more strategic ways around little dilemmas, but no, pride always demanded a little dick measuring. Exhaling a bored breath the weight of her chin lifted away from the shoulder it had claimed as a perch as instead she cast her shadowing stare towards the neck of the girl she’d dragged into her acting class, half tempted to see just how far she could push the girl and take advantage of the position while it was available. But then it wouldn’t be much fun when it was blatantly obvious the two before her had some sort of affectionate yet awkward relationship already budding between them, and Estella wasn’t one to allow herself to be turned down, even in jest.

The offer for a drink swallowed all current thoughts as tightened arms would slacken, only to then recoil and rest idly by her own slender sides. Cocking her head admirably to the side she’d find herself contemplating the notion, some polite part of her felt obliged to accept and show some little gratitude, but another part drenched in honour and prestige just wasn’t willing to permit someone to offer charity. For that’s what she viewed the whole act of politeness as, but that was simply due to the fact she’d always had more money than those she kept in good company and so she’d never been in the situation where someone offered her something out of goodwill. Running her tongue smoothly across the surface of her lower lip, Estella would toss her gaze without a comment from the man back to Ky in time to hear her praise, or something of the kind, “Anyone could have done it, besides it’s always fun to make a guy panic. It’s the best form of entertainment.” Rolling her shoulders forwards in a casual brush, she’d give a slight shake of her head before revealing those perceptive shadowy browns in a narrowed glance towards the door, “Think I’ll pass, I’m not the type to play third wheel, besides I should probably get home before my sister does.”

Estella makes it a point to tell me anyone could have saved me from the guy and I don't understand why, but at the moment, I just feel so relaxed. All tension of hatred or whatever aggressive emotions if far from me now. To have this overwhemling sense of relaxation and enjoying the night despite what just happened is what I clearly understand, though Matthew's comment makes me laugh.

"I bet you would like to see me kick his butt. Though, I'm not really up for physical altercations at the moment... I'd rather watch instead of participate even though I'm sure his shoulder might be throbbing from that punch." I state and rubb my knuckles from where I hit the guy right on the bone part. Not more than a moment later, Matthew offers to buy both me and Estella drink, however she decides to pass up the offer claiming to be a third wheel. I shake my head at her and her reasoning for her to be getting home. I probably should be doing the same. If my dad wakes up in the middle of the night and catches my bed empty, he'll have my head.. and my brothers. Maybe after a few more drinks, I'll get out of here. One dance with Matthew first though. I wouldn't mind getting close to him again.

"Estella! You aren't a third wheel. You should really join us for drink! SEriously!" I try to make it sound welcoming, but I don't want to push her. "Listen, I'll be back here in a few minutes. I'm going to go off with Matthew for that drink offer but wait for us before you head home, alright? We should go together." I nodd to her, and feel Matthew as he puts a hand to my back and subtly guides me to the bar.

"Let's move over where it's not as crowded, okay?" I hear him say and give Estella a look telling her that I'd be back shortly. I let my feet do the walking, feeling the floor against my bare feet and stepping in something wet. No doubt, someone's beer they spilled. I shake my foot off a little and we reach a small table with my glass in hand. Matthew's toast makes me grin, my cheeks flush a deep red for once because I'm not ashamed to hide my emotions tonight. Everything seems to just be out on the table. I hold nothing back and all thanks to the liquid that I start to down immediately after Matthew's first long swig. I put the glass down with just half of it left already. A sensation of floating floors intensified from how many I have already had tonight.

"Matthew... what brings her here tonight? You seemed to have found where I go, didn't you?" I ask him and once again, take a few more sips of the candy red liquid in my glass. I get closer to him and bump his shoulder. "You followed me, didn't you?"

I look over to where Estella is and wave a hand to her to join us, but I"m unsure if she will. It also makes me curious as to why she refused to take the offer from Matthew for a drink.
