Mark Orca
"Do you know where he is? I need to have a word with him." Mark's caught a little off guard with that question. He doesn't have a clue specifically, but there's only one place to actually find him for definite. "Probably at home." He mentions, not really delving into the details of where, when or why. He doesn't feel the need to, since Matthew probably already knows where it is. "He's tough, so I hope that word doesn't involve a fist." He says, with a grin though as though he was just joking. "He wasn't armed with only a spear." Mark looks up at Matthew, his brown eyes that are somewhat deep and engaging glaring at him with a precision that is rare. "You were." He looks down again, still sitting on the edge of the bench, at his water bottle of which is only half as full as it should be. "Yeah, Tyren did well. He's brave." He speaks at Mark. "Brave? He's a legend. That kid went from pinnacle to miracle in a matter of seconds." Mark speaks, as though Tyren really is a legend. A hero, or something like that. "Sounds like you're eager to step in his foot steps." Matthew's little comment is over thought by Mark. He assumes Matthew means into the hospital, as well. "I won't fall where he did. I don't fire twigs from strings." He suggests, saying more or less that he doesn't fire the bow at all. If anything, he's worse at it than anything. But he wouldn't let anybody know that. "I take it you two aren't very close." He comments, though, when Mark asks how Tyren is around Matthew. "We're not. I would like to say I regret it, but I'm not the best at being friendly." That's only half true. Mark is completely capable of being friendly, he just doesn't see the point most of the time. Some people are worth it, whilst others aren't. Most, aren't.
"I'll do a few laps now. Seems all I can manage today." He suggests. "I take that as an invitation." Mark assumes. He doesn't care if he's not welcome. He wants to know who his cousin is best friends with. Maybe it's the protective trait that every single drop of Orca blood seems to carry. Perhaps, the more likely option, he's just curious because he wants to know Tyren better. "Is he really your best friend?" He asks, getting into pace with Matthew. "What's his favorite colour? Would he choose love or money?" He jokes, not meaning the questions seriously but even he doesn't know those things. Maybe Matthew does. It would be interesting, and the more it swirls around Mark's head, the more he would like to know them.
