"You to." Brittany agrees with that smirk that has yet to fade from her faces. Eyes following like a hawk on the one that has so oddly decides to go play with the toddler instead of her. With no one else to mess with, her that vicious stare turns to her daughter, studying the face that doesn't look much younger then her own despite their relations. "Oh, he's cute." She comments, waiting for the smallest reaction from Vy.
"Glad we have different taste." Vy shares back with a grin of her own. Still Brittany only takes it as a way to get her to back off. If he's here, it's obviously for a reason. And given her daughter's history of even sleeping with her enemies, Brittany fully intends on playing her game for as long as she can. A loud 'mhm' coming from her lips as if they were closer in age. "Don't you have somewhere to be?" Vy questions with every ounce of rudeness she can find.
"Yeah, in the other room." Brittany mentions though she doesn't move from her lean against the kitchen counter. Arms crossed as if expecting something.
A giggle erupts from the very room Brittany was talking about. How Brooklyn loved the word no. Not necessarily being told it, but saying it and seeing other's reactions when they hear it or say it themselves. It's very entertaining. Her tiny nose squishes in disapproval before she's stumbling to her feet once more. Right, she did come in here on a mission before being distracted by a follower. Half of her petite frame goes into her toy box in search of something specific, though half the toys are already scattered about. "Ball!" She announces as she throws the slightly small bouncy ball blindly. More laughter breaking out when it hits the side of her friend's head. That's what he was asking for earlier, right?
"Can you please for once just leave my friend alone?" Vy asks with a surprisingly genuine tone. When she was younger, she hated when Brittany flirted with her friends for different reasons. Nows it's just plain obnoxious and embarrassing.
"Friends? Is that what you kids are calling it now a days?" Thanks Matthews, for giving Brittany the slightest suspicion. And to make things ironic, he's actually one that Vy's never even slept with! As if she'd bring any of them home. Talk about frustrating.
"He has a girlfriend!" She repeats from earlier. But even if it is only a friend, it's something, and Brittany fully intends on destroying it.
"Uh huh." Either way she's still unconvinced though. "Well then you have nothing to worry about." She reassures like it's actually going to make a difference. "I'm just having a little fun. You see, there's still lots and lots of payback you need for ruining my life." And with that she's traveling to where her interest has gone.
"If only you knew you ruined it yourself." Vy informs softly as she's forced to stay where she is. Blame it on the cooking, though it's also out of having enough of the scene. Poor Matthew, but he's on his own till this pasta's done. Five more minutes now.
"Having fun in here?" Brittany openly makes her arrival known as soon as she enters. Taking a seat on the couch as her attention jumps back and forth between the other two in the room. So he likes kids, well she can to. "So Matthew, you go to the academy to? I'm sure you look great in one of those uniforms."
"Brookie, don't play with that ball silly girl. Go get your teacups." Far from the parenting methods she used on Vy, but apparently somethings do change with age. Clearly not everything though. A squished nose on the youngster's face is directed to her this time as the stubborn two year old denies with that gesture alone.
