The old, intimidating Vy has returned as a scared expression stares back at her. Like she's really going to kill Ky's Father over an adult tantrum, but it's nice to know she still has that charm. A gulp from him pressing against her arm that refuses to release him. That cold stare pointed directly at Mr. Ruze's eyes to show just how much she's not kidding for a change. There's an order from a calming, yet stern, voice behind her, telling her to let go of him. Too bad that's not happening until this guy's getting pinned by someone else. Her chokehold not even loosening until there's relaxing hand upon her back. At first there's that instinct that everyone's an enemy, to elbow the one telling her to back off. It's Jeran though, and with the security his father can't attack anyone without maneuvering past the two of them, Vy's finally letting go and straightening up.
For some reason Jeran has the power to bring peace to any situation. Even as he's yelling at his dear old Dad, it all feels so much better with him around. Not that Vy was worried over handling it, just the fact he takes away her need to enhance it too far. Actually wanting to ease the circumstance herself as she places a light hand on his shoulder, almost like she's trying to tell him lecturing his father will do no good. Those beautiful eyes eventually turn to meet hers, doing no good though she hoped it would. Instead it sparks something in him enough to almost deliver a punch to Mr. Ruze. Vy's own fingers wrapping around where they have yet to leave. Almost like she's trying to hold him back, but allowing it if he has to. He doesn't go through with it though.
A hand goes to her cheek, provoking the now-sensitive skin that Vy had forgotten about. Guess that's what finally sent him over the edge, retrieving a weak half-grin against his hand. "I'm fine." She reassures and exchanges the grip that was on his shoulder to his wrist, to slowly pull his hand down. The last thing they need is to cause suspicion on a bond they don't even understand, as much as it does kill her to force away his heart-stealing touch.
That leader that Vy admires so much comes out of Jeran as he directs her to go support Ky, and requests for Matthew to come help him. Anyone else would just get an eye-roll from her, and possibly would be lucky enough for her to listen afterwards. But with him, it's just different. "Yes, Sir." She jokes, giving him one last microscopic grin before turning her full focus to her lady friend.
Suddenly something pauses though, more arguing, and for some reason it feels wrong to see Jeran upset. Briefly Vy grabs hold of his arm again to distract him for only a moment. "Hey, it's not worth it." She advices, knowing all to well about how useless it is to argue back with parents. Nothing but a wasted breath is going to come from it. With no more time to spare she's passing Matthew and taking his place at Kyanite's side. "You okay? Help is coming." Is reassured to the injured one as she wraps an arm around the Brunette for comfort.
