The first words spoken to Vy, since everyone came in, is a deep concern over how Kyanite's doing from Matthew. Not that she minds, just that the circumstance's a bit awkward as she stands back, unsure what her job is anymore. "A bit dizzy, but she says she's not tired." She answers with a shrug. As many hats as she pretends to have, a doctor isn't one of them. Probably wanting more then a comment from someone who doesn't know crap about this, Matthew retrieves closer to the patient and doctor scenario. What occurs next seems awfully harsh as his offer to help is turned down, and he's practically ordered to back off and put some ice on his own bruise. Well crap, that discomfort of being here just doubled for Vy.
Something that must get cold without ice is handed over from O'Rourke, blowing Vy's excuse to leave and get some; Damn it. No, screw it she's good at coming up with stuff. "I'm going to get some ice for when that thing loses it's spark." It's the first thing to come to her mind, so she rolls with it. Plus it seems like that thing will quickly be fading in temperature with the steam coming Matthew's ears. And there's also that fact she's looking for any reason to leave, even for only a minute. She takes her time gathering the ice into two baggies, pausing for a moment to get a cup of water for a couple of sips. There's no rush since those packs should still be working and her assistance isn't needed. Just a second to herself.
Before she has a chance to return, Matthew's exiting and coming into the kitchen as well. Looks like a private conversation's going on between the Ruzes and O'Rourke. To try to lighten up things up, even if only a tad, Vy gives a light toss of the cold bag once he's looking her way and has a brief warning to catch it. "It's better then the fake stuff." A smidgen of a smile comes forth as if to say that everything's going to be okay. "Does Ky need one?" She questions, not really wanting to barge in on whatever's happening in there.
"How are you holding up?" Vy asks about Matthew for a change. That bruise on his eye doesn't seem pretty after all, and the mental stuff is probably even worse. Sometimes she can be a decent friend.
The Corporal enters after a bit of time, and hardly gives Vy a passing glance before ordering Dunham to go outside. "Well hi to you to, Sir." She mutters when they're a good distance away, door shut and everything. He hasn't spoken a word to her since he arrived. Either she unexpectedly left on bad terms with him, or he has a thing for brunettes like the rest. Another sip of the water, she helped herself to, is consumed as she plops up a barstool in the room. Might as well assume Jeran wants a moment with his sister, and she has no clue what she'd do in there anyways.
