One minute the entire room's bursting out in laughter, and the next silence falls upon everyone. Even Brooklyn comprehends that something's off and her grin & loud giggles fade as well. It was a complete mistake on Ky's part, whom hides her face with looking towards the opposite side of the room. But Vy finds no sympathy over that. Only anger & confusion, along with uncertainty of anything else. Surprisingly what she does know is that it's not as much directed for Ky, as it is for just the situation in general.
There's never been that right time to give away her little secret to Jeran; they were always distracted by something else. But his sister, and a couple others from the academy, do know. Which means they were only delaying the inevitable. It was bound to happen, and it's far from Kyanite's fault. Still Vy only finds herself speechless instead of reassuring this. Feels like everything's standing still until Jeran informs that he's going to wait outside and give them some time alone. And before Vy can even react, the door's closing behind him.
The entire time she didn't dare to look at him, as if she was afraid to or something. Which is saying something given she lacks fear in every occasion. Once he's departed, she allows her eyes to travel over to Ky. A infuriated expression is probably to be expected, but instead her features remain blank. Unsure of what's going to result from all of this.
No time is wasted for Kyanite to admit to her guilt and apologizes. "It's okay." Vy cuts her off before a rampage can begin. If anything, she's glad it came from Ky. Time and a harsher delivery could of made it a load worse. "Was gonna happen eventually. Better sooner then later, right?" She tries to play it off with one of her famous shrugs. "Another piece of advice I can offer, don't play Sprout off as your sibling. Never ends well." A sort of mixture of jokes and seriousness comes forth with a forced half-grin. The biggest accomplishment Vy could ever achieve from helping out Kyanite, is making sure she doesn't make the same mistakes. And with the list that the Blonde has, Ky'd be the ultimate parent if that happened.
