Vy Pryce
Perhaps this is why Vy never strayed beyond having fighting and drinking buddies; close friends come with a load of luggage and problems. Not that she really minds, it's just being personally involved isn't part of her forte. Lately nothing has been with the bookwork from the academy and the unknown struggles to be a better person for her newly formed relationships. It's frustrating to say the least, and she grasps her first opportunity to have normal sort of night. Just a couple of hours to pretend like nothing's different, that she hasn't changed from that rough-ass career. "Bye baby girl." Well once she's out the door and said goodbye to Brooklyn of course.
The final exit is taken in a rush. Obviously to prevent any potential arguments created by Brittany, where she can retract this rare opportunity for her daughter to go out. Somehow none of that goes down though and she's speeding her way to the nearest Pub. A night like the old days; have a few drinks, mess around with a couple of strangers, forget all about the responsibilities at hand.
"Two double shots." Vy orders once the bartender reaches her on this busy weekend night. He is on his toes and delivers them in no time, before moving down the line. With alcohol at her disposal now, she could careless about the crowd. Though she does consume the first one quickly, so she doesn't have to stay in the huddle around the bar longer then she has to.
Someone pulls her attention to the side before she has chance to rid of her second one. "That's a lot of booze for a lady." A random guy, that's far too obviously a career, comments. He twiddles the large shot-glass around like he was going to take it for himself.
"Well good thing i'm not a lady." Vy snaps back as she snatches the alcohol she paid for, downing it seconds later with a cocky smirk. "Speaking of ladies, I see a herd just down there just waiting for you." He gazes down the bar and genuinely laughs at her remark.
"Of course you're not one of them, you're a career." He assumes with a coy grin of his own.
"Oh, i'm sure they're careers to." She replies back quite mockingly. Odds are they probably even are, just not the good ones.
"If you can call them that." Someone that understands her view, guess this one's not bad. "Come join the real careers' table, we got a bunch of pitchers." He offers with a nudge of his head towards the general direction.
"Should of just started off with that." Vy jokes and follows him to where everyone else with toned muscles are sitting. Now this is what she was talking about, olden days. Surprisingly there's even another female that looks far from the snobby type. No gossip or annoyances occurs, just conversations on fights and how hard they kicked someone's ass. How these nights have been missed. But of course the present can never be far behind, and unexpectedly she notices a friend in the sea of of people here.
