Relevant previous experience: I was once a mod on another site long ago, like around the time I first joined THGRPG, but it fell through. I have little to no experience from that time, but I do learn things from watching the staff here.

Why should we choose you? Being a mod is something I'd prefer to be if I was to become a site staff member. I personally am on almost every day. If not, it's because I'm on vacation or at school, but even then I check on the site while at said places. I'm always accessible, night or day by slack or pm's. I check everything daily, first thing I do when I wake up and last thing I do before bed. I'm always around somewhere. I'm very active and i like to help people when I can.

I am usually always positive about everything. I try to look at the good in everything and keep myself and everyone I talk to happy. I'm a very outgoing person and love to talk to people in general. I'm very patient when it comes to learning or teaching or listening. I'm very enthusiastic about most things, especially new things! I'm good at listening to what people say and taking it in and helping with problems. I love explaining site things to people.

I'm respectable to everyone. I listen to what people have to say and don't ignore what they have to say. I may have only been in 3 games for a short time, but through that and plots, I've had some great interactions and I love to problem solve. Problem solving is one of my favorite things in general to do.

I've been on the site for four years now and have plenty of experience from interacting with old and new members. I am very helpful and love to help out where I can. I'm fairly certain I will be able to answer most, if not all questions people have about the site. I'm fairly good at looking at bios in general. ~~I pretty much stalk every thread/bio~~. I'm always accessible. Just message me via Slack and I'll reply within minutes.

As a member of four years, I understand what is needed in a bio and can tell you exactly what is right and what is wrong about a bio. I love bios and general and read a lot of them. I may not have any experience as staff, but I can tell you that I'd work my hardest to be the best I could be.

Relevant previous experience: I was part of the moderation team on Avalon Kingdoms Minecraft server/forums site and I worked on chobots.com (r.i.p) as part of the "Agent" team which involved keeping people safe online and making sure the virtual world was in a fine and dandy working order.

Why should we choose you? I have an array of relevant experience which extends beyond what I have put above. Both on and offline, I have developed skills which are suitable for this role and can be applied to ensure I carry out the tasks to the best of my ability. Additionally, I believe I am able to apply myself in an enthusiastic way which creates a positive work ethic for everyone involved in a situation. I am capable of being professional: kind, patient. willing to help and am prepared to dedicate my time to show this, and learn new skills along the way. Despite joining the site just over a year ago, I believe that I have become at one with the website and it's ways and am able to navigate it at ease, meaning I can extend a helping hand to a new member who may be confused,struggling or lost.

In my opinion, I think I am a very active member of the HGRPG community who tries to stay connected with events and other users. Over my time here, I've demonstrated a variety of skills and have shown my positive and approachable personality, one that makes me want to grasp understanding of new situations and ideas. This position would be a great opportunity to prove my prior knowledge and show that I can be a hard-working and patient member of a team -- which can hopefully add to the already excellent, polished and efficient aura the staff team has.

So this is mostly copy/paste from my last one with bits of new information huzzah \o/

Currently, I'm actually a moderator over at We are Royal, newly opened, a shoot off from Oo-De-Lally below. c:

Ohi so yes, I was a staffer over at affiliate site Oo-de-Lally. My duties included moving/locking posts, watching out for spam in the Cbox, checking faces off of our canon list (very similar to the FC thread here) and of course, checking bios.
The admin of ODL has also appointed me as an unofficial RP helper, where I assist others in writing to the best of their abilities.

I was a co-admin on a small, literate Wolf RP site that I can no longer find back around the turn of 2010. We had a fairly decent run, (almost a year and a half), with an active grouping of roughly 20-25 members at a time. My duties there were to sort bios, provide graphics for our headers, general moderation, plot creation, and making sure our members stuck to our relatively tiny word count (50+) ahaha.

-GEEK ALERT-

Various WoW guilds From Wrath of the Litch King on, I was a staff in roughly three guilds, one Alliance side on Tanaris, and two Horde side on Cenarian Circle. For the guild on Tanaris, I was members relations in a small, 50 toon guild.
For Cenarion Circle, I was staffer for a maxed guild- we literally could not take any more toons, as it had 999 individual toons. That's not to say members, our continual member base fluctuated depending on the time of the year, anywhere between 40- roughly 100 active, contributing members across various toons. After Mists of Pandaria came out, our guild lost steam and disbanded after it was handed over to a different admin, who took the guild and kicked everyone out to have it be for them. (It happens a lot D: Especially since we merged with Moonguard man, that merger literally killed it.)

Why should we choose you? I have been an active member of the site for around two whole years now (anniversary coming up yay) and I believe that in those two years this site has become very important to me and my development and I would love nothing better than to help run it. I believe I have a lot to contribute and I have even contributed small bits and pieces in the past.

Firstly, before it changed, I personally edited many wiki pages for tributes in the past in my first few months of being part of the site. I hated the idea of having so much potential in something but not having it fulfilled so I began personally editing wiki pages for members. It was only small scale but I believe that's just a testament on my commitment levels and ability to organise information and get a task done effectively and I would be more than capable or performing/organising wider scale tasks and tasks. Despite me being slightly peeved on how my work got deleted from the wiki changes I'd be more than happy to organise/personally something like that again. I do it because I enjoy doing it. I wanted to do it because I have the innate desire to see this site do well.

Also, I've also been helping newer people in Slack/PM. I'm very patient and understanding so I'm more than happy to answer questions and make people feel welcome and I'd happily do it hundreds of times without hesitation.

I believe I would easily be able to fit in with the staffing team. I am quite close friends with many staff meaning I wouldn't have any trouble co-operating with anyone on such a diverse team. I think I'd be able to contribute a lot of unique and creative ideas to the staffing team and the site as a whole if I am given the chance.

I already spend a lot of time on the site, I would have absolutely no problem diligently checking bios. Having made my fair share of characters I know the specific criteria for character creation like the back of my hand. I am great with my time management and I would be able to put a solid amount of time daily checking and reading over bios whether I am in the games or not.

I would also consider myself a quite mature and experienced member of the site. I can honestly say I don't allow IC or OOC drama to affect me and it certainly wouldn't affect my performance as a moderator. I don't argue needlessly with other members and I act civil to everyone at all times. I simply feel that I have a maturity and level headedness that you really don't see in many people my age; especially on the internet.

Finally, I just love the site and I feel everyone on here can testify how much I have grown and changed here from the 13 year old kid who first joined. I would love nothing more than to have an active hand in running the site; not because of the blue name or anything like that but because I would genuinely love my work and I believe I'd be a very motivated member of the staffing team.

Why should we choose you? I'm still relatively new, but I feel like I've learned a lot in a short period of time on the site. I'm also a relatively quick learner and am willing to do whatever I'm required to. I like to consider myself very out going and personable. I'm very easy to talk to and have no problem reaching out to other members. I'm constantly on slack and skype and should be relatively accessible at all times. I always do my best to reach out to people, especially newer members, since I'm still newer myself. I'm able to keep a level head and am a very patient person. I'm willing to do whatever is needed to help progress the site. In the short time I've been here, I've grown so much with the help of other members and staff and would love to be able to contribute as much as I possibly can.
