I've put enough work into sword swinging, knife throwing, and nose breaking that all this Training Center crap just seems mundane. I've been doing this stuff since I was old enough to walk. My family spares no resources when it comes to training the next Victor. Any more practice and I might actually throw myself off the top of this building. The only thing this place is good for is showing off—both for the competition and for the ladies.

There are some good lookers this time around. Maybe not as good-looking as me, but well enough for my tastes. There are familiar names—Krigel, Eckhart, Truus—who I'd love to cross off my bucket list before I win. And with a name like 'Fray' and a face like mine, I can't imagine I'll have a difficult time getting them to fawn over me.

I don't waste any time when the Eckhart girl catches my eye. I pick up a weight and make my way over to her, blocking her way with my arm pressed to the wall, curling the dumbbell in the other arm. I raise an eyebrow at her, a devilish smirk on my face as my eyes trace the outline of her figure. If I ever decide I want a wife, I'd want her to look like this.

"Lucy Eckhart, right?"

I take the time to glance into her eyes only to realize it was a damn trap. Shit she's beautiful. "Uhh.." I fumble for my words just for a moment before regaining my composure with a goofier smile than intended.

"With a house full of sisters I bet you've never seen a guy this close before."

It can be exhausting.

Standing in a room filled with 23 other people, watching as they skilfully throw a knife, or wield a sword almost perfectly. Knowing that any one of them can be the one who takes your life. It's mesmerizing though, watching them, and sometimes I can't help but stare, wishing that I was as talented as they were.

I pick up a knife, trying to concentrate, but my eyes wander around the room, watching again. It's when I notice a boy walking towards me, not just any boy, but Justice Fray. Well shit. He's the last person I want to deal with. Before I know it he's standing next to me blocking me in. I always seem to get myself trapped between a rock and a hard place, and when I say rock I don't mean the wall. "Yeah, that's me. And you're umm...Justin? Oh, oh, it's Justice right?"

I raise my eyebrows as he hesitates. What the hell is wrong with him. He doesn't seem to be one to trip over his own words. I can't help but smirk a little, anything to make him more uncomfortable. It takes every bit of control I have in my body not to roll my eyes at him. "Oh guys I see guys all the time, but it's real men that are hard to find. Do you know if I can find any around here?" I stand on my tip toes, trying to see over his shoulder. He's hot of course.

But Justice Fray certainly does not need me to inflate his ego anymore.

I've always loved legs. I wonder how long they are—Lucy's legs. She's shorter than me, but I think she has nice legs. Long and silky smooth and probably strong. I've always loved girls with strong legs. They're usually so... bendy. Lucy looks pretty bendy; I bet her calves look stunning in heels. I bet her thighs are warm. What I wouldn't give to just---

My eyes shoot back up to her face. Shit. I hadn't realized my attention had drifted. The smirk crawls back onto my face as she peeks around me, searching for this so called, "real man." Poor girl. I hadn't realized she was blind.

I chuckle, tilting my head to keep her vision trained on me. Because none of these guys in here are even close to being as real as me. I am Justice Fray. There isn't a single guy in this entire nation who is better than me.

"Funny," I say, slowly leaning a bit closer. "I like that."

I lean forward, my lips hovering close enough to her ear that I can whisper. She smells nice. I grin. And then whisper.

"How about you wrap those pretty little legs of yours around my head and I show you how much of a man I am."
