Areas

Cornucopia:
It’s the recreation hub! This place was meant for socializing, complete with a cocktail bar and board games! Bummer though. Looks like the bar only serves virgin drinks. Lame. There's some sort of elevator that’s hanging from the ceiling like a chandelier, but it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. There's also a heavy looking locked vault door on one side of the room. Strange...

Cafeteria:
Here there be food. That’s it.

Residential Area:
Once, perhaps, people lived here. The halls are lined with doors, each sporting a last name and a number. Inside the rooms, you can find well-worn toys, clothes, and photo albums. Take a look through the pages. See any familiar faces?

Education Center:
A contrast to the relative neutral tones of the rest of the bunker, the Education Center is painted in vibrant shades and decorated with soft rugs and eye-pleasing drapes. Behind the drapes are paintings of sunny days. Too bad the light feels so artificial. Books line the walls, and half-finished workbooks are laid open upon the desk.

Hydroponic Gardens + Indoor Orchard:
The grey walls give way to lush, vibrant green. Fruit trees stand in orderly lines and plotted gardens entice you inwards with their offerings. Sitting on the top of a large series of tanks by the south wall is another set of gardens. They lattice between tanks is covered with flowering vines that hangs down to shade the pathway between tanks. When you walk inside, you can almost pretend you’re not stuck in a bunker for a moment. Just a moment.

Waste Processing Plan:
It smells bad in here. Some of the waste is just scrap cloth and torn paper, but there’s a large section dedicated to waste. It smells like the Bog of Eternal Stench, and it’s more than likely going to turn your stomach. Have fun though I guess? Go dumpster diving?

Generator Room:
There’s power here! This is really just somewhere to hunt rats and fight, lbr.

System Control:
GROUND CONTROL TO MAJOR- Hey, this place has TVs. Hey, this place has TVs with up-to-date video feeds of the whole complex. You can see all the tributes from here! There’s also a lot of buttons… Wonder what would happen if you pushed one?

Secret Hideout:
Dank af. Get you some food, water, and a spot of extra healing because this is a chill and friendly environment. Throw pillows everywhere, and a ahem secret stash in the corner.

The Vents:
The ventilation system is open for business! Access to the Vents is dependent upon REs. Then, once triggered, that Tribute may choose to share the Vents with other Tributes. Remember, though, that access to the Vents gives you an advantage. Once you have access, you get a whole new set of paths opened up to you. You can also pop into the vents at any time (after you’ve had mandates for the day) for funsies! Use this to crawl around and listen in on conversations.

Special Room Mechanics:

You can mess with things in System Control! You get the option of pressing ONE button a day, without knowing what the buttons can do. These buttons all have different reactions, from turning off lights in different locations to locking doors and halting your fellow tributes in their tracks. You can also learn the location of ONE alliance's chosen location for the next day while watching them on screen before you choose your own location. Use it wisely.

The Secret Hideout has a strict NO FIGHTING policy. You also heal a little quicker here.

Anyone in the Waste Processing Plant has to roll for nausea. Minor damage or nostrils of steel. Dumpster diving can lead to some fun and useful finds! Hey, is that a sword?

Use the Vents to listen in on conversations of people who are in an adjacent location! You can also meet up with a person in an adjacent location after mandated fights have finished up. Anyone who starts a fight in the Vents will only be able to land hits to the face and neck. Have fun with that. The Vents cannot be traveled to as your location for the day.

Game Day Events

Day 3: Crash Landing
The elevator in the Cornucopia crashes and there’s some fun stuff inside.

Day 4: Steaming Up
Uh oh! Looks like something in the generator room got busted! Power's still okay, but the whole room is filled with thick steam and you're having some trouble telling friend from foe... Randomized target rolls from here on out in the Generator Room.

Day 6: Fancy a Flood?
Gross. Waste is flooding out of the Waste Processing Plant and into the halls! If someone is in System Control at the time of the flood, they can roll a die to see if they can correctly pick the button that closes the doors to the Cornucopia and Hydroponic Garden + Orchard. Roll a 1, and they're both flooded with sewage. Anyone in the Cornucopia, Hydroponic Garden + Orchard, or the Waste Removal Plant at the time has to roll to see if they get nauseous and take damage. The food and plants in the Hydroponic Garden + Orchard becomes inedible. Roll a 2, and you get the doors closed in time! Yay! However, you can no longer access the Hydroponic Garden + Orchard or the Waste Removal Plant from the Cornucopia. If no one is in System Control at the time, the same events that happen for rolling a 1 occur.

Day 8: Ascend, and Find Salvation
Well, the doors couldn't hold the sewage forever. It floods quickly, and you wake up in hell. Alas, where else is there to go? There was that strange door in the Cornucopia that would never open... and a crash landed elevator... The door is open and the elevator is barely functional. Take them to the top and you find scorched earth, and one last foe. The longer you're up here, the more your skin hurts, and the sicker you feel.
