OMG pt 3?
Alabastor stands against the wall as he realizes that his legacy is quickly dwindling. He wanted to be known across the district as a father that could mentor trained killers to win the games. He had already proven himself once, to be quite clear. Anatalia was everything that he wanted in a daughter. The only problem was, that she never listened to him. She was soft compared to most of the careers that he had the pleasure of getting to work with. Some people told him that it was because he was a little too rough with her when she was a child, but he never admitted to anything. After all, he thought that being tough would build character in his children.
However, Christian and D were getting older, and soon enough, they would be too old to go into the games themselves. Alabastor was determined to keep his legacy alive, and with Beatrice aging out of the reaping, he had to come up with something that would ensure his own names survival for years to come.
A conversation with Annie, to which he already knew that he would get what he wanted because she wanted him out of her life as much as possible, occurred. She was able to procure a building on the edge of the district that used to be an old fishing warehouse. Seeing as it did belong to his sister, all Annie really needed to do was get in contact with her to get what she could out of it. Addison had been working out of the other warehouse anyway. Annie had never been perfect, but she was easy to at least coerce into things.
Alabastor’s plan? A state of the art private training facility, complete with housing where children he felt were in need could come and train to be a career. Watching the building be built in front of his eyes, he made sure to have a hand in every aspect of the building process. Everything had to fit his own taste, otherwise he wouldn’t have approved of course. Some people asked how he was able to get such a sizeable donation out of Annie, and all he told them was that they were family.
Of course, Christian and D would be enrolled, but they would not live at the facility. As for the rest of the children, they would live, breath, and sleep becoming a Career.
Hi! So I was looking for a way to expand the Morrisen Family drama but honestly, couldn’t think of anything at the moment that had to do with the actual family bloodline. Very head empty on that end until I get around to fleshing out what is going on with the Mer’s! However, someone did inspire this new plot.
Of course, Alabastor is well.. an asshole. A big one at that, whose ego knows no bounds. He hounded Annie from time to time because he always claimed that family was family, but Annie never really bought into it. To be quite frank, Annie wanted to stick a knife in him every time he tried to make his presence known. However, when Alabastor told her that he would limit his visits to her if she donated to his cause, she jumped at it.
Anything to not have to deal with her father after all.
And that is how this was all created.
So heres what I am thinking:
This is going to be a completely original based plot. I am not going to cap it at the moment, because I want to see what comes of it. These are children that came from rough backgrounds, or they came from households that are considered turbulent. Alabastor has eyes and ears around the district to let him know the best spots to indoctrinate new recruits, so the story is pretty much an open book.
The children should be anywhere from 12 to 18 of course. Careers. Dynamics are up to you as the writer, and Im willing to flesh out anything that might be needed.
Here’s a little app to help! I will probably come up with archetypes when it isn’t midnight LOL.:
Your Name! (self explanatory)
Characters Name! (Whats they name!!)
Sun/Moon/Rising! (Big Three please!)
Tell me about them, what is their background? (where did they come from? How did they get to this point?)
Plot points? (Anything you want to see happen in this training program? Are they looking for their future mommy or daddy issues?)
Do you think they could beat Annie in a fight? (I think anyone can tbh.. Annie is pretty useless now a days.)
No hard date on this, as it will always be rolling! Will come back and add some Archetypes tomorrow!
