Homes that whistle from frosty winter winds housed you with warmth. Mildew scented thinned mattresses atop concrete floors grounded your youth. A viper sunk its fangs into your tender skin, poisoning you through kissed fists and half-empty threats. Yet you sucked the poison out, spitting it onto its face with a wicked grin. Who knew a viper could look so small once you pierce its neck in return.
expansion: Domitia is a representation of the darker side to career kids. Not all of them grow up constantly in school, with a stable family unit, well-fed, and pampered to be killing machines. Some become what they are from survival, their lives mirroring those from lower districts by trying to stay alive through any means necessary. All of Domitia’s life, she never has had a choice in who or what kind of life she will lead. The first time she had tried to take control to help her father out, it ended up getting him killed, which she blames herself for. The second time, she succeeded barely but now lives in fear of being killed by her former kidnapper. Now she is knowingly choosing to join Townsend because if she dies, she wants her death to mean something.
