first things first - seascapes are shit!!

see, my mom collects them, because she'd always wanted to be a painter, but there isn't a single artistic bone in her body. she used to have this big dream of opening up a gallery, something right on the coastline, except she kept buying these ugly-ass fakes and none of the help had the heart to tell her that they were garbage. and i mean i've never said anything either, mainly because i dunno why she wants pictures of the ocean when we live right beside it? and you can just look out the window and see the same thing? but she's still paying for my training, so whatever! do what you want mom!

i'm a lot more artistic than her, anyways. smarter with money too!! i don't even have to pay people to let me beat their face anymore, they let me do it for free! we don't really have the same makeup as the capitol, but i don't let that stop me either. i've been making do since i was eleven, started way back when i swiped my aunt's red lipstick and just absolutely went to town on my mouth. it must've been imported or something, because she was real mad, but that's when i realized i had the gift.

the gift of pure talent, i mean. and i'm not just being pretentious, ask anyone! i even got down with pietro's whole clown gig, you know that little side hustle thing he does, i don't judge! i helped him with his grease paint and his eyeliner, the whole shebang. and the kids loved it!

really, i'm just that good. great even. i bet i'll even get an internship in the capitol, just you watch!
