Describe Vanya in one word.

Her mother would say, "Unstoppable." She is a force, a goddamn bull. If she wants something, she won't shut the fuck up until it it's in her grasp. Damn the consequences. What is a career with no determination? No will? A weak bitch, that's what, and Vanya has no patience for whiners and deserters. Not a shred of sympathy to spare when she is willing to break her bones for a cause.

Her father would say, "Stubborn." Vanya can't argue with him, but she will anyway, because fuck him. He is always judging her, always in her business, complaining about her 'lack of manners'. Since when did manners make anyone rich and famous? Did manners help her win fights? Sure as hell didn't, so being prim, proper, and restrained is pointless.

Her friends would say, "Outspoken." That was a nice way of putting it. When she speaks her mind, the words are raw. She won't sugar-coat anything for anybody, and it often leads to unpleasant 'disagreements.' These end when the first punch is thrown. Vanya proudly wins those fights often, but not always. What's there to learn if you don't land on your ass every once in awhile? Even careers need to be humbled.

Vanya would say, "Something." She has secrets to keep, and there should always be an element of surprise. If you want to know her, you'll have to make an effort. Vanya has no time for shaky friendships and indecisive minds. Her mother trained her to act in confidence, and her father trained her to watch her back. Can't be too nice, can't be too quiet - that's shady shit, and Vanya won't buy it. Hard to make friends that way, eh? But the few she has are worth it.
